Unexpected

Chapter 15

Caitlin's POV:
We arrived back and I got Drew's car seat out of the car, taking him inside, followed by Justin, who was carrying my bag, and Pattie
We entered the house and Justin took my bag up to my room
I took Drew into the living room and sat down on the couch bending down and taking him out of his car seat
I then took his coat off and just sat with him in my arms
Pattie, who was sat next to me, just sat admiring her grandson
If I'm honest he was perfect...
Justin came back downstairs and sat next to me, on my other side
"You wanna hold your nephew?" I asked him, smiling
The biggest smile came onto his face as he nodded
I handed Drew to Justin and he held him so delicately
Drew was now awake and looking up at Justin
I noticed Justin looking at Drew with so much love and admiration, I smiled at the two of them sat together so innocently
Justin looked up and caught me smiling "You know, I'm proud of you" He smiled
"What for?" I asked
"For handling this so well on your own" He replied
"But I wasn't alone through this, I had you and your mom for support" I smiled
He then looked back at Drew and smiled "You know, he looks so much like you" He said not taking his eyes off of Drew
I laughed a little and replied "Yeah but he still looks a lot like Jason too"

It got to lunch time and Pattie was in the kitchen making lunch
Drew was asleep in Justin's arms and had been for a few hours now

Drew then woke up crying
Justin stood and bounced him gently and he soon went quiet
I then stood and took Drew from Justin taking him upstairs, to my room, where Justin had put up his crib at the end of my bed
I then fed him his bottle before laying him on my bed to change his diaper
I then headed back downstairs and lunch was ready
I laid Drew in his small play crib in the living room and headed to the kitchen for lunch
I sat down next to Justin and Pattie put our plates in front of us
We began eating and just talking about random stuff

After lunch I sat in the living room with Pattie and Justin as I watched Drew laying in his play crib looking around the room curiously

Later Justin had Ryan over
Ryan walked into the living room and walked over to Drew's play crib
He smiled before looking at me "He's cute" He said, still smiling
"Thanks" I smiled back
"Can I hold him?" He asked
"Sure" I said standing up and walking over picking Drew up and carefully handing him to Ryan
Ryan held him gently

Later on we had dinner and then Justin practically begged me to let him feed Drew, so I did
Once Drew had finished his bottle I showed Justin how to burp him
"I just remembered I have a surprise for you" Justin smiled cheekily
"What is it?" I asked
He stood with Drew in his arms and said "It wouldn't be a surprise if I told you"
I rolled my eyes and stood, following him upstairs
He led me to the door to the spare room and smiled once again
"Open the door" He said, still smiling
I opened the door and it revealed a perfect baby room (picture at the side)
"Did you do this?" I asked Justin whilst smiling
He nodded "My mom helped" He smiled
"Its perfect, but he'll still be staying in my room until he's a little older" I replied
"I know, I just thought it'd be good to have a room ready for him"
"Well, its perfect, thank you" I smiled once again

I got Drew bathed and dressed into his little footie pyjamas and took him upstairs to bed

I kissed his forehead before laying him in his crib and tucking him up
I then got a shower and got into my pyjamas before going to bed myself...
