Audrey's POV

I took a sip of Kid Danger's drink as I watch as the tube went up. We just got back from fighting crime and getting a drink was a nice reward.

"Hey, hey." Charlotte greeted us, standing up from the monitor.

"Hey, Char," I replied with a smile, feeling energized. The pills Loretta gave me were working, and I've been getting some good nights' rest. Life is great.

"Hey, Charlotte." Captain Man greeted, taking a sip of his drink as we walked over to her.

"Hey, what's up, Char?" Kid Danger wrapped his arm around me, kissing the top of my head. I bite back a smile.

"So, what happened?" She inquired, looking at all of us one by one.

I furrowed my eyebrows until I noticed she was asking about the crime. "Oh, well. We showed up at the playground, right?"

"And there's a bunch of second graders playin' in the sandbox." Kid Danger continued.

It was Captain Man's turn to talk. "But what the kids didn't realize was. . ."

"That uh, there was a nasty nest of scorpions right in the sandbox." I mentioned, cringing as I thought about the scorpions.

Charlotte's jaw dropped. "Scorpions?!"

"Crawling all over them. Freaking out."

Captain Man and Kid Danger mocked how the kids sounded when there was scorpions all over them, as if they wouldn't be scared to death if they were in their position.

They sat down on the couch and Captain Man said, "And then we just grabbed a fire hose."

"Big ol' fire hose." Kid Danger described.

"We just, uh, sprayed the scorpions off the kids." He replied, and the two of them started to giggle. I roll my eyes and turn to the monitor from an incoming call.

"Hey, that's Jasper calling from upstairs." Charlotte mentioned, walking over to the monitor.

"Oh, great." He groaned as Charlotte accepted the call.

"Hey, what's up?"

"Hey, it's me, Jasper."

"Yeah, we can see you, dummy." I informed him, a smile creeping on my face.

"Cool. Uh, so, Henry. . ."

Kid Danger stood up, walking over to me and putting his arm around me. "Yeah, what's up, big dog? What do you need?"

"Your sister is here!"

"Wha— why? What does she want?" Kid Danger asked, and I groaned. Piper scares me.

"I don't know! I told her you were busy, and then she got mad and said she's not leaving til' she talks to you!"

Kid Danger sighed, leaning his body weight on me. "Um, are you sure she's mad?"

"Uh, yeah! Look at her pacing angrily!" Jasper pointed the camera at Piper stomping around the store, grunting.

"Look, just tell her that I'll see her at home, before I leave for New York."

Oh, yeah. Henry's leaving for New York. He was a bit hesitant on leaving me since of the issues, but I persuaded him to go. Besides, I've got my dad, Charlotte, and Jasper to keep me company. I think I can survive a weekend without Henry.

"Huh?" Captain Man looked up. "I thought you weren't going anymore."

"Yeah, well Drey's forcing me to go." He playfully messed up my hair, and I shoot him a glare.
