Unexpected

Chapter 1

I was sitting on my desk doing nothing when I heard my mom call my name from downstairs. "Annabelle! Someone is here to see you." I didn't expect anyone to come see me right now, and I didn't know who it might be, but went downstairs anyways.

When I reached the last of the steps, I was tackled with a big bear hug. "Anna! I missed you so much! Omg!" a high-pitched voice said. I instantly knew who it was.

"Lily, I missed you too but i really can't breathe right now so it would be really nice if you let me go now," I said while my breath is being squeezed out of me.

She finally released me from the breath-taking hug. Literally breath-taking. "Oops, sorry," her cheeks flushed crimson red. "It's just that it's been a long while since I've seen you and I really, really miss you. I wish you could've went with me in the cruise trip. It would've been so much fun!" she pouted.

I laughed. "I missed you too, lil. And I must admit, it would have been fun if i went too. I mean who else will listen to your non-stop gossip, huh?" I teased with a little smirk playing on my face.

Hmm, well, saying that definitely earned me a glare from my tiny, blonde, green-eyed best friend.

She rolled her eyes. "Anyways, school is almost gonna start. You excited for school drama to start again or what?" she beamed and a big smile covered her face.

Now it was my turn to roll my eyes. "Sure," I said sarcastically.

Soon enough you'll know what kind of drama that girl is talking about. You'd be surprised of what happens in this school. Trust me, I'd know that, since i was there since freshman year. This year is our senior year and i would still be surprised by the stuff students do there.

"Oh, c'mon, you know you love it there," she smirked.

I groaned but didn't say anything because what she's saying is kinda true. I do love it there and I wouldn't want to transfer 'cause then, I would miss all my crazy friends that I've known for years. I started walking up the stairs to my bedroom, which is at the end of the hallway, and Lily followed with a smirk still plastered on her face 'cause she knows how I ignore her when she's right. When I reached my bedroom, I opened the door and closed it after Lily came in. She went to sit on my bed and I went to sit next to her.

"Well, I was thinking maybe we could go shopping today since i'm back and school is about to start in three days. What do you think?" by the end of this sentence, she prepared her puppy dog face to do its charm on me. She knows I can't really resist it. Oh, that little devil. I sighed mentally. Sometimes I feel like this girl is a five year old in a seventeen year old body.

I groaned. "Fine, we'll go. Just let me get ready first. Why don't you go wait downstairs while I get ready, okay?"

She squealed. "Yay! Okay, but don't take a long time to get ready. I don't wanna see your brother, no offence but he is really weird sometimes."

I laughed. "Okay, I won't. And no offence taken, I mean even I say he's weird sometimes...well, actually, most of the times." My brother, Tyler, is fifteen yet he's taller than me even though he's two years younger. I gotta admit, my brother is kind of attractive so i don't blame girls for throwing themselves at him, although, he's a bit of a game nerd, but oh well, most guys are either stuffing themselves with food like animals or playing video games. He has brown curls, grey eyes and he's really tanned. He actually looks like me a bit, except I'm less tanned, my eyes are a little lighter shade of grey and my hair is brown and wavy.

She didn't say anything and just left and closed the door behind her. Once the door was shut and I heard footsteps going down the stairs, I headed to the closet and went through my clothes quickly. I decided to stick with black skinny jeans and a blank tank top with a white cardigan over it. I put my clothes on and went to wear my black converse. After that, I went and tied my hair up in a messy pony tail, and then i was ready to go. I got my phone and wallet and left the room and headed downstairs. I heard voices coming from the kitchen and found my mom and Lily having a little chat.

"Hey mom. I'm ready to go now, Lil," I told them.

They both looked at me and my mom replied first. "Hello, sweetie. Have fun but be back before dinner, okay?"

"Okay, mom, i will. Bye. C'mon, Lil."

"Okay. Goodbye Mrs. Grayson," She smiled and followed me to the front door.

well, there goes the first chapter. The girl in the pic is Annabelle. idk i chose her cuz i think she looks like her with the descriptions and all. anyways i rlly hope the chapter was good ^-^ oh and i'm still not sure on the cast list so it would be nice if u suggested characters as Annabelle and Lily and also Annabelle's mom.
