hello!! i was watching the new fatui trailer when i suddenly got this idea lolol... despite not having played genshin or been in the fandom for a while, i honestly dk why i even made this fic in the first place ╰(▔∀▔)╯..

this story is going to be in 2nd pov! where i use 'you, your' instead. because of this, it doesn't have to be female reader! you can think of it as gender neutral! though, i will be using feminine things (outfits) and maybe she pronouns (barely) but to me, clothes don't have a gender and you don't always have to think you're wearing the stuff i describe! i just use them because i think the clothes are cute ^^

i did some research before writing the story but that might not be enough. sumeru is apparently based off of middle eastern and south asian cultures so i needed a bit of help to get the name... (*_ _) if the name for karim is iffy or incorrect pls tell meee! btw, the fatui is involved quite deeply in this fic
