"Sonic!" Amy yelps, reaching her hand for Sonic's relief fills both of them as Sonic catches Amy's hand, he struggles to pull her up, as he pulls her up; with struggle, his grip loosens. He gasps, "Amy!" He yelled, as his grip was loosening, Amy sighed, frowning. Tears welled up in her eyes.

"Sonic, please let go.." Sonic widened his eyes, shaking his head, tears now filled his eyes.

    "What-"

"Please Sonic," Amy looks down into the abyss. "You can't hold on for much longer, do you see the situation we're in." She states looking around the bridge that was ready to collapse. Sonic closed his eyes in pain.

He opened them, "No. I'm not letting go... never!" She winces tears streaming down her face as her voice begins to quiver, "Please, for me... for you, for us."

Sonic gasps, jolting from his so-called sleep. Sweat trickles down his quills as he looks around, shakily breathing. He clears his throat, feeling a lump form, he gulps it down. The sky looked grey, just like how he was feeling.

Tears brim the bottom of his eye, he wipes them away taking a deep breath. He focuses on his breathing only. Opening his eyes once more he looked around the dark lit room, it was only 5 in the morning.

He looks down before sighing, pulling the covers off of himself he climbs out of his bed. After he had finished his routine he walked out of his bedroom and into the long, quiet halls of his used to be filled home.

Walking down the halls he looks slowly at the pictures hung on the wall. From the adventures he had not only with his girlfriend, but his friends. He looks down, after Amy's death, he never went back in touch with his friends.

Partially because they blamed him for her death. He felt sick to his stomach as he walked around seeing the untouched pictures of him and, everyone, "I should take them down.."

Before getting to touch the picture he falters his hand to see Tails smiling. Waving at the camera as he flew in the air. Knuckles had his fist in front of him, his normal smirk present on his features. Sonic himself just stood there, winking at the camera as he held a thumbs up with his right hand.

Amy, she was the one taking the picture. It was mainly for the remembrance of Team Sonic and the defeat of Robotnik. Another picture frame was right beside it, a beautiful antique frame bordering the picture. And there, beside Sonic stood Amy, her usual bright smile.

Her smile was brighter this time. Probably from how good their relationship was.

He smiled. Before looking down, wrapping his arms around himself, 'I miss your touch, and the love you shared with me..'

As he looks back up at the picture he reaches to grab it before being interrupted by the doorbell, 'Can I have a moment?' He walks over to the door, opening it. Lazily, he searched around before looking at the bat in front of him.

Rubbing his eyes he groggily asked, "Oh, hey Rouge... what do you need?" She quietly chuckled to herself, "Have you forgotten something hun?" Sonic raises a brow, "What do you mean, have I forgotten something?" He widens them.

"Oh shit! I forgot to have my morning chilli dog, thanks for the reminder, Rouge." She rolled her eyes before inviting herself in, pushing Sonic to the side. She looked at him more stern, "No Sonic, did you not read the note I put by your bed?"
