8 - Short stories, Pics and Diamonds

A/N

I have not even a ghost of an idea so I'm just going to drop short stories of the Pearls and their Diamonds (with Pink and Birdmom Pearl) Diamond focused!

-Day Off

"Blue, you have to be joking—" Yellow Diamond groaned,
"I'm not," Blue Diamond replied,
"I'm not taking one,"
"You are,"
"I don't need one,"
"Yes you do," Added Pink Diamond.
"No, there's work to be done,"
"It can wait,"
"Blue—"
"You're having a day off whether you like it or not missy!" Pink Diamond said impatiently, tapping her foot. "And we are going to shoot down whatever excuse you come up with," Blue Diamond added,
"Come on Starlight," White Diamond said.
"Not you too!" Yellow Diamond cried, "Alright then, one day off. Just one earth day. Then it'll be over,"
And the Diamonds celebrated.

-Pink?

"Blue this is horrific," Yellow Pearl said clutching Blue Pearl's arm,
"It's too bright," Blue Pearl agreed, also grabbing Yellow Pearl's arm.
"Hello?"
They knew that voice, and they were filled with fear.
"White Diamo. . ." Yellow Pearl's voice faded, it was her. Pink's old pearl, except— she wasn't really Pink anymore, she was white, and where her left eye was, just a crack. "What do you have for me Pearls?"
"Right, we have a request from Blue Diamond," Yellow Pearl nudged Blue Pearl who scrambled around for the letter, she found it eventually and gave it to her.
"Alright, anything else?"
Yellow Pearl was too stunned to speak, Blue Pearl had to cover for her.
"No, we'd take our leave,"
And so they did.
"Pink," Blue Pearl broke the ice, "Except she isn't really Pink anymore, is she." Yellow Pearl sighed, "No, I don't think so," they both knew they weren't talking about the color.

- Hairstylist Blue Pearl (Not canon to the book)

"Bluuueee!" Pink Diamond said entering the Blue's chambers, "Whatcha doin'?" Blue Diamond was sitting as Blue Pearl brushed her hair, "Oh, Pink, my Pearl was just, fixing my hair."
"Oh! Can you make my hair get straight too?"
Blue Pearl blushed, "I—I'm not— su—"
"She does Yellow's hair too,"
Blue Pearl blushed even harder,
"Is that how she gets them all straight and look like a helmet?"
"Yes,"
"Ooh!"
"Blue?" Yellow Pearl asked peeping through the door, "Oh, uhm,"
"What are you doing here Yellow Pearl?"
"Er— I was—"
"How would you like them today Yellow?" Blue Pearl spoke, knowing why. "Back to the way it was . . . It went awry after it was wet." Yellow Pearl's hair was long, and it was straight. Blue Pearl giggled, "Over here,"
45 Minutes Later
"Thanks Blue," Yellow Pearl said, Blue Pearl blushed dark blue again,
"Y—your welcome, but it's not much really—" Yellow Pearl knew that Blue Pearl didn't know what to do with positive reinforcement and compliments, "It's about time you accept compliments, preferably from me," Blue Pearl giggled.
Pink Diamond was practically skipping on the spot, "Pearl they're adorable!" Pearl giggled, "Yes, yes they are."
