Addison's pov
Today me and my boyfriend make history together because I'm the first alien to be admitted into Mountain College and Zed my boyfriend is the first zombie to ever go to college and we're going to the same college so we'll be together. When I was little I never thought that I'd actually be in the same building as a zombie but I was all throughout high school which is where I met my boyfriend Zed who just so happened to be the first zombie on the football team at Seabrook high school where I went to school and I was a cheerleader and the funny thing is that when I first met him I didn't know that he was a zombie because we were in the zombie safe room and it was dark but when the lights came on I punched him right in the face and immediately felt bad but you already know what happened from my freshman year up until I graduated high school so stick around because this is the happily ever after to the best relationship that nobody ever thought would happen but I'm so happy that it did but Zed is the absolute love of my life and I don't know what I would do without him I know this might sound crazy but I can see myself marrying Zed and having a family with him because I love him more than words can ever explain but now we're going to be living together because Zed and I are going to share an apartment near college because all of the dorm rooms are full so Zed and I decided to get an apartment together and we're moving in today and I can't wait.
Zed's pov
Today is a big day because I'm moving out of Zombietown and I'm moving into an apartment with my girlfriend and the most amazingly beautiful woman I've ever seen her name is Addison and she is an alien which I'm still trying to get used to because we didn't know that she was an alien until 2 or 3 weeks ago but she's so perfect I don't care that she's an alien she is the love of my life and I can't imagine my life without her in fact my dad Zevon and I have been talking and he's looking for something very special a little backstory my mom died the day after she had my little sister and my best friend Zoey which is why nobody has ever seen her and we don't talk about her because it's still painful for my dad but anyway I told my dad that I want to marry Addison and he asked if I wanted to propose with the ring he proposed to my mom with and I said yes so he's looking for the ring but now is the hard part because my little sister Zoey has been calling dibs on the ring since she could talk so I'm going to talk to her about it and see how she feels about it because I want her to be okay with it so I sit on my bed "Hey Zoey can you please come here I need to talk to you about something" Zoey comes into my room and sits next to me on my bed "what's up Zed?" "I just want to make sure that you're okay with something I know you've been calling dibs on our moms engagement ring but if it's okay with you I want to propose to Addison with that ring. Is it okay if I give it to Addison?" "As long as I can visit you and Addison at college you can give it to Addison besides if she says yes then I get a bonus sister" "Of course you can visit us at college I would be sad if you didn't but you know I love you right?" "I know Zed I love you too" I give Zoey a huge hug and tell her that she can go back to what she was doing and my dad comes in "Hey Zed I found the ring" "thank you so much dad" "Of course son now do you know when you're going to pop the question?" "I'm thinking that I'm going to ask her on our anniversary which is in a couple of weeks" "I'm so happy for you son you're going to be an amazing husband when you and Addison get married" "thanks dad I think it's time for me to go" "Okay son I love you" "I love you too dad" I get up grab my bags and go to Zoey's room "Hey Zoey it's time for me to go" Zoey gets up and comes over to me and gives me a hug and I hug her back and I can tell that she's about to start crying "Zoey it's okay I'll visit I'm not gonna forget about you" "I know Zed I'm just gonna miss you so much" "I know you're gonna miss me but you can always call me and I'll answer I'm gonna miss you too Zoey but I have to go now" "Okay big brother I love you" "I love you too Zoey you're gonna be fine I promise" "Okay you should get going now" I stand up and walk downstairs with my stuff and I go to the front door "bye dad bye Zoey" "bye Zed bye son" I open the door and walk out closing the door behind me and I walk to Addisons house and knock on the door and Missy opens the door "hey mayor Wells is Addison ready to go?" "Yeah I'll call her down" "hang on a minute I need to ask you and your husband a question is he around?" "Yeah he's in the kitchen come on in" "thank you mayor" "Zed please call me Missy" we walk into the kitchen and Dale is looking for something "Dale Zed is here and he wants to ask us something" Dale comes over to me and shakes my hand and we sit down "what did you want to ask us Zed?" "I know this might come as a bit of a shock to the two of you but I want to ask for your permission to ask Addison to marry me I love her so much I don't know what I would do without her and she's the one I want to spend the rest of my life with she's the absolute love of my life I'll forever be grateful if you let me propose to your daughter" Addison's dad stops me "Zed I know how much Addison loves you and all I've ever wanted for her was to be happy and she's happy with you so I give you my permission to propose to my daughter and personally I can't wait to have you as a son in law" "thank you so so much for allowing me to propose" "when are you going to propose?" "I haven't figured out all the details but I'm thinking about proposing on our anniversary so in a couple of weeks oh and I already have the ring I'm going to propose to her with would you like to see it?" "Sure" I pull out the ring box and show Missy and Dale the ring "that's gorgeous Zed I know Addison will love it" "thanks it was my moms engagement ring before she passed away" "I'm so sorry I didn't know about your mom" "it's okay she died the day after my little sister Zoey was born I was 7 when she died so I barely remember her at all it's not hard for me to talk about her but I don't recommend asking my dad about her because he's still heartbroken about it but I think Zoey has helped him through it because she keeps him busy" "Okay" "well I think it's time to go is it okay if I go upstairs to Addison's room to get her?" "Go ahead you know which room is hers" "thank you so much" I go upstairs and go to Addison's room and knock on the door and I hear her say "come in" I open the door and she turns to see who it is when she sees me she smiles and comes over to me and gives me a hug and I hug her back and give her a quick kiss on her forehead "I'm almost done packing my stuff Zed" "do you need help with anything?" "I might need help zipping my bag up because I have so much stuff but can you go make sure I got everything out of my bathroom?" "Sure Addie" I get up and go to her bathroom and I start checking the drawers to make sure she doesn't forget anything so far the drawers are empty until I open the last drawer when I open that drawer I see that she forgot to check this drawer which has her monthly women's necessities so being the good boyfriend I am I grab the stuff and bring it to her bedroom "Addie you almost forgot this stuff" she turns around and immediately turned red I can tell that she's a little embarrassed "Addie you don't need to be embarrassed it's not a big deal I'm just glad that I found the stuff for you" "you really are the best boyfriend ever" "I'm just being the boyfriend that I should be" "I love you Zed" "I love you too Addie" I help Addison finish packing and we go downstairs and I carry Addison's bags down the stairs "Well we really should be headed out so we'll get to our new place before dark" "Okay" Addison gives her parents a hug and we head out to her car and we put our stuff in the car and we get in I'm driving and Addison is sitting in the passenger seat once we get in the car I look over at Addison and I can tell she's crying I grab her hand and kiss her hand "what's up Addie?" "I'm just gonna miss my parents so much" "I know Addie but you'll be okay I promise we can always go visit them" "I know" we get on the road and I let Addison control the music and she puts on our song "Zed" "yes?" "I love you" "I love you too" "I have a weird question" "what's your question?" "When do you want to start calling each other cute pet names like babe or honey?" "Well I've been wanting to call you babe and baby for a while I just wanted to make sure you were ready for it so whenever you want to" "you're the best honey" "you're the best too baby" she leans over to me and gives me a kiss on my cheek "babe is it okay if we get some food" "Yeah I was just thinking about that" "what do you wanna eat?" "This might sound weird but I'm in the mood for sushi" "I've never had sushi before" "you haven't had sushi before then we have to get sushi it's really good I think you're going to like it I just hope that you're not allergic to fish" "I'm not allergic to fish" "Okay good honey can I take a quick nap I got up super early so I could pack all my stuff" "you don't have to ask me if you can take a nap go ahead I'll wake you up when we get to a grocery store" "thanks lovebug" "no problem sweetie I love you" "I love you too" after a few minutes I look over and Addison is fast asleep but she looks cold so I quickly grab a blanket that I put in the back seat of the car and put it over Addison's legs and torso and I keep driving and since Addison is tired I think I'm going to drive to our apartment and then when Addison wakes up unless Addison wakes up before we get to the apartment which will be another four hours give or take but I soon realize that the sun is going to be going down soon so I have to tell Addie which I really don't want to do because that means I have to wake her up but she's so cute when she's sleeping I look over at Addison and I suddenly don't feel bad about having to wake her up because I can tell she's having a bad dream so I take my right hand of the steering wheel and I start rubbing her leg "Addie honey wake up it's okay wake up baby" she wakes up and looks at me "what happened?" "You were having a bad dream so I woke you up" "Okay are we almost there?" "No it'll be another couple of hours but the sun is going down fast so I think we might need to get a hotel for the night because I don't like driving at night" "or I can drive" "the car doesn't have headlights so it'll be really dark" "oh okay then we should definitely get a hotel room" "Okay just one question do you want to have separate beds or one bed for both of us" "I think one bed is better since we'll be sharing a bed in the new apartment and we need to get used to it and besides we'll finally be able to snuggle" "Yeah I was thinking about that too and I was honestly hoping that you would say that you want to share a bed because I've been wanting to snuggle with you" "Zed can I tell you something?" "Of course you can tell me anything" "promise you won't freak out?" "I promise I won't freak out" "I had a dream that we got married" "really that's so sweet" "I thought you were going to freak out and say ew no" "why would I say that you're the best thing that's ever happened to me and if I'm being honest I've had that same dream" "you're so sweet honey" "I try" as we talk I keep driving until I see a hotel so I pull into the parking lot "does this hotel look good to you?" "Zed this is the nicest hotel I've ever been to but I'm pretty sure it would be to expensive" "Addie trust me I have enough money for this hotel besides I already booked a room for us" "you spoil me too much" "I just do what I can to show you just how much I love you" "do you want me to go with you to check in?" "Sure" Addison and I get out of the car and we go into the hotel and walk to the front desk "how can I help you?" "I have a reservation under the last name Necrodopolis" "Okay well here are your keys for your room enjoy your stay" "thank you" I grab Addison's hand and we walk to the elevator and I press the button for the top floor and we walk to our room and I open the door and I cover Addison's eyes with my hands as I walk her into the room "why are you covering my eyes honey?" "I have a surprise for you to show you just how much I love you" "can I look now?" "Yeah on the count of three one...two...three I take my hands off of Addison's face so she can see and I just hear her gasp as she turns around "is this the honeymoon suite" I just nod and she jumps into my arms and kisses me "Addison I know what you're thinking but I'm really tired" "Okay let's go get our bags out of the car" "we don't have to because they have luggage delivered so they will get the bags out of the car and bring them to our room so we don't have to go downstairs to get them" "that's cool" "I know" we hear a knock on the door so I go open the door and the guy is here with our bags so I let him in and he puts our bags in the closet and then he leaves and I close the door and go over to Addison "Zed is it okay if I change my clothes and put something more comfortable on?" "You don't have to ask me if it's okay for you to change just go ahead I'm actually going to change my clothes too" I go to the closet to get my bag and I grab a pair of sweatpants and a t-shirt and I start going into the bathroom but Addison stops me "Zed you can change out here I'll change in the bathroom besides I need to use the toilet" "Okay" I go over to the couch and I put the clothes I'm changing into on the couch and I start changing until I hear Addison call me so I go over to the bathroom door and knock "what do you need help with babe?" She opens the door and she's just in her bra and underwear "can you please unhook my bra for me?" "Umm sure" "Zed you don't have to be nervous I'm not gonna bite" "I know it's just I don't want you to be uncomfortable" "Zed you don't have to worry about making me uncomfortable we're gonna be together forever so it's not like you're never gonna see more than this" I unhook Addison's bra and I try to walk away but she grabs my arm and pulls me back into the bathroom "Zed it's okay you can look if you want heck if you want you can feel my boobs besides you don't have a shirt on either" I look into Addison's eyes and I can tell that she's being honest about her being okay with me seeing her topless so I slowly start looking down and god she's gorgeous "you're gorgeous babe" "you're so handsome"
I lean down and give Addison a kiss "I need to get changed" "Zed you don't have to always have a shirt on if you don't want to" "you're okay if I sleep shirtless?" "Yeah why wouldn't I be?" "I guess you have a good point it's just I'm so used to having to sleep with a shirt on since I always lived with Zoey the only time Zoey has ever seen me shirtless was when I was putting on my football jersey and I forgot to close my bedroom door and she walked by" "Really?" "Yeah" "you're so cute" "you're the cute one" "I seriously love you so much" "I love you too babe" "So do you want to order room service?" "Why not" "awesome let's look at the menu and see what they have" I grab the menu and I start looking at the menu while adding gets her top on "so what do they have on the menu?" "They have a bunch of stuff but I'm thinking about getting the grilled cheese sandwich and tomato soup" "that's actually sounds really good I think I want that too" "Okay I'll order us our food""thanks honey" "no problem sweetheart" I grab the phone and order the food "it should be here in about 30 minutes or so I start looking around the room and I go into the bedroom and I see the bed and I start laughing "what's so funny Zed?" "Look at the bed" "Well now that's romantic" "Yeah the bed is in the shape of a heart" "let's watch tv until our food gets here" "I actually told Willa that I would call her before I go to bed so I'm going to call her really quick" "Okay babe" Addison gets up grabs her phone and walks into the sitting room and calls Willa

I hang up the phone and I go to the bedroom "Well that was an interesting conversation that I had with Willa" "why's that?" "She said that we should just get married already and I asked her why and she said that we're like the cooler version of Romeo and Juliet" "that's sweet" "I know right that's what I said" "is the food here yet?" "It just got here" "good I'm hungry" "me too my love" "you are the sweetest guy ever I don't know what I would do without you" "I don't know what I would do without you either baby" we sit down at the dinner table and we start eating and talking to each other about the new apartment "so Addie how do you want to decorate our new apartment?" "I'm not sure yet but we can decorate it together" "I like that idea" "wow this food is good" "agreed" "I love you so much baby" "I love you too sweetheart" we finish eating and we go into the bedroom and we get in bed and I snuggle into Zeds' side and he wraps his arms around me and rests his head on my shoulder "tired honey?" "Yeah" "then let's go to sleep" "good idea baby" we lay down and within a minute Zed is fast asleep so I give him a quick kiss and I fall asleep with my head on his chest
