Bad karma occurs when we did something irreparable, and it's time to pay it back, twice or even more than the pain we caused. Kaya naman hangga't maaari, we should only do good deeds to avoid karma. In the law of karma, we should pay everything we did.

There are two types of karma, the good and bad. Ang good karma ay kung saan ang swerte na sa atin because we did something good in the past. The universe's energy is around us. While the bad karma naman is the total opposite of the latter.

And I believe in that. Kaya naman I am paying everything I did, even if that means suffering. Saying sorry is not enough, kaya kelangan kong pagbayaran lahat ng ginawa ko. I accepted my fate, that I will be forever spending my life with the bad karma on my side.

"You should pay him a visit, Therese." I sip my coffee before meeting her eyes. And it mirrors mine.

I said.

And even after he's discharged, hindi na ako muling nagpakita sa kaniya. I just can't face him. If only I haven't..

I sighed and faced my computer, where the data from the previous month is flashed. It's been three years since that happened but the memory is still fresh, na parang kahapon lang nangyari iyon.

I heard a knock and it revealed Stephie, my staff, behind the wooden door.

"Hindi pa po ba kayo uuwi?" She asked. I searched for my phone and it's almost twelve na pala. Hindi ko namalayan. I shook my head at pinauna na siya.

My business, a restobar is only operational from 9 AM to 11:00 PM. But I'm here, instead of doing my job, my mind just took me to the hazy memories that I'll never forget.

"Ingat ka." I bid her my goodbye.

Tinapos ko muna ang inventory before going home, which is an hour drive, minus the heavy traffic. It's Friday pa naman at payday kaya I expected na mabigat talaga ang daloy ng traffic. It took me an hour and half bago nakauwi sa condo.

I shrugged and just wear the unused slippers. Baka may bisita lang kami. I tiptoed and went to the kitchen to dehydrate myself. Maaga sana akong natapos kung hindi naglakbay ang isipan ko three years ago. And look what it made me do, hindi ko natapos agad ang trabaho at late pa akong nakauwi.

Which reminds me na hindi pa pala ako nakakain mula lunch. Ah, maybe Debbie did. We have been living under the same roof for almost a decade na rin, mula senior high up until now.

Naka ubos ako ng dalawa bago umakyat. I'm so sleepy that I almost didn't manage to clean myself. I won't risk my life there.

Maaga akong nagising kinaumagahan kaya I prepared our breakfast. I am toasting the bread when someone hugged my waist.

Hinarap ko ang nagkukusot matang si Kelsea and kissed her cheeks. Ngumiti siya agad and it reminds me of someone I cherish the most. I greeted her a good morning and asked where her mom is.

"Maaga siyang umalis po, My." I nodded and carried her.

After our breakfast, I prepared Kelsea for her school and did my morning rituals after.
