meet up

After an excruciating hour of sitting in the car and making Vinnie stop on the way so I could get out and stretch

We finally reached my home town

We were really close and I was getting really inpatient

Char: can you please drive a bit faster

Vinnie: were literally going 10 over the speed limit

Char: o-okay but please like hurry like but don't crash the car just drive but drive safe but also drive like really fast an-

Vinnie: calm down rose

Did he just call me rose? Whos rose?

Char: rose? My name is Charlie

Vinnie: no rose

Wait.....was that a nickname? Mans just gave me a nickname

Vinnie: anddd were here

He said as I didn't even notice we were there because I was zoned out of what he called me

I looked and it was actually my house , I literally squealing

I opened the car door and literally sprinted towards my front door

Then I ran back to the car because my keys were in my bag

My neighbors probably were thinking I'm crazy running back and forth

I quickly got my keys and ran back, and opened the door

Once I opened it, the house was quiet,

My heart dropped and I gulped p

But after a few seconds, I saw Avani coming down the stairs

When I saw her I was a bit shocked

Her eyes were red, she just came out the shower, but her face was drained

Char: a-avani?

She looked up, and when she saw me, she rubbed her eyes , and then stared at me for a good minute, she looked like her soul left her body

Avani: c-charlie? I-is t-that you?

Char: yes...!

I said as I was at the verge of crying

She ran towards me and hugged me so tight I couldn't breathe, and I hugged her back as tears left my eyes

Avani: w-where were you? The news said you got kidnapped by the mafias son, a-and I thought I'd never see you again because of how ruthless and brutal he is and i-

Char: shh it's okay I'm here now....I'm perfectly fine nothing happened....where's lily?

I then realized what she had said....

Kidnapped by the mafias son?

Avani: no no how did you-

Char: w-wait what did you just say?

Avani: y-you were kidnapped b-bye the mafias s-on?

When she said that, my heart skipped a beat

W-wait so.....when Vinnie said he was a.......he w-wasnt lying?

I was feeling so many emotions.....most of all I felt like I knew absolutely nothing.....I was so confused and felt like I had been lied to......

I couldn't process anything, all I knew was I wanted to meet my sister

Char: l-lily where is she?

I said looking at Avani who was  wiping away her tears

Avani: u-upstairs....

Char: she's okay r-right?

Avani: yea yes she's perfectly fine, I told her you were o-on a treasure hunt.....and I showed her old videos of you and told her she was on facetime with you...

I was shocked.....Avani did that for my sister....?

I realized how much Avani took care of lily and always was with me

Char: a-avani.... you're the best.....

Avani: so are you.....now let's not waste time and go meet lil-

Then I suddenly heard a loud scream

Lily: SISSYY!!!

I saw lily running towards me with her stuffed animal in one hand

I knelt down and she jumped into my arms

Char: lily I missed you so much

I said holding her tight as tears fell from my eyes

Lily: me two sissy I wuv u

Char: I love you too....

Avani: h-how did you get here and where were you?

She asked but soon her questions was answered when Vinnie walked in with a bunch of his guards behing him

Lily got scared at the amount of people And how scary they were

And when I looked at Avani, she looked like she saw a ghost

Avani: y-you! You took her didn't you!

Avani yelled at Vinnie

I was also caught off guard of how scary Vinnie looked

I couldn't recognize him at all....

I was so confused and scared , and happy and it was so.....weird and I didn't know how to feel about the situation

Vinnie: get it the car Charlie

He said looking dead into my eyes

Avani: s-shes not going anywhere! You're nothing but a murderer!

When she said that my eyes widened, I was trying so hard to understand what was going on and at the same time trying to stay calm because I didn't wanna scare lily who was shaking and holding onto me tightly

Vinnie: shut up there's a fucking kid in the room

When he said that.....my heart melted......so that's why he was acting so calm

But I quickly snapped out of it, still trying to figure out what was going on about the whole mafia thing

Avani: you kidnapped my cousin what the hell is wrong with you!?

Vinnie: charlie get in the goddanm car

Avani: NO!

she said pulling me towards her by my arm

Avani: charlie say something!?

Char: i-i.....

Avani looked shocked when I didn't say anything

Avani: really? W-wait a minute, do you even know who he is Charlie!?

Char: n-no?

Avani turned to vinnie

When I looked at Vinnie, he just looked at me and lowered his eyes

I felt like someone shoved a spear in my heart

Avani: see!? Do you believe me now!? He kills people Charlie! And he never told you! God knows what he was planning to do to yo-

Before Avani could finish what she was saying, Vinnie pulled out a gun
