"This is stupid." Theo whined "I feel stupid." he looked down at his outfit in disgust
"too bad, you lost." Klaus sang fixing his brothers collar "okay now" he gave Theo a slight push "go on."
Theo groaned "okay-" the trio all turned at the sound of a house door closing, the house they were searching for. Theo saw the lady get distracted picking up a dog toy, he took the chance to super speed right behind her
she jumped when she turned "I am so sorry, did I scare you? I promise I didn't mean too." he spoke sweetly in an American accent
"can I help you?" she asked him, still a bit frightened
"uh yeah actually, my car ran out of gas a couple miles back. I feel like I've been walking forever, and your house happens to be the first one I've come across." he lied "what I'm asking is, may I borrow your phone?" he asked attempting to get invited in
"don't you have a cell phone?" she asked him sassily
"as a matter fact I do" he held up his phone "but it's dead" he sent her a fake smile "look, I promise i am a serial killer, I just wanna use you phone." Theo assured her with puppy eyes
"fine." she sighed giving in "come in." she singled him to follow her "so what, did you just come back from a math competition?" she giggled looking him up and down
annoyed at her comment "shut up." he compelled getting a hold of her arm dragging her back into the house
"what's going on?" another lady in the kitchen asked once she saw him
"please be calm" Theo told the lady "now, I was told Ray Sutton lives here." he asked looking around the house
"he's almost never here, he's on the road mostly." she backed up
"but he makes it home once a month, doesn't he." he commented, her eyes went widen "I see, alright then, where is he now?" receiving no answer "okay ma'am, I have a reckless brother along with his bunny loving friend outside, they are currently planning a way too make this extremely painful for you" he warned, right then she took off running
"great." he groaned walking towards her direction still holding the younger girl "we've got a runner." Theo yelled
"ahhh!" she screams seeing Stefan and Klaus at the door
"jackpot, you see my brother is known for loving a chase." Klaus told the girl who bumped into Theo as she was backing away from him
"he's right." he whispered in her ear making jump away
"he's in Tulley. It's near the border." she blurted out "a bar called Southern Comfort, it's off highway 41." She stuttered
"thank you, my love." Klaus said
"Invite my brother and his friend in." Theo whispered to girl he was holding
"C-come I-in." she said as Theo pushed her over towards Klaus
"kill this one quickly." Klaus told Stefan "make that one suffered." he walked off alongside Theo
"I call driving." Theo yelled taking the keys from his pocket "yikes, what a ripper." he commented hearing the screams as he unbuttoned the striped button up
Theo played around with the bracelets around his wrist as he dozed off looking into his glass of bourbon, the painful groans of Ray snapped him out of his trance
"Ray, come on." Theo overheard Klaus urge him to tell him where his pack stayed
bored but the scene "I'll be back." he excused himself, although Klaus barely acknowledged his missing presence
Theo stood outside with the phone keypad taunting, having an inner debate with himself. He give in, dialing a number that has been engraved in his head. Waiting for the person to up anxiously, after three rings there was a voice
"Hello?" she spoke softly, her voice echoed in his mind, he froze "Hello?" the voice asked again a little more curious
"Stefan?" She asked, Theo's heart dropped although he immediately masked it "is it you?"
"wouldn't you love that, Anastasia" He spoke "last time I checked that's you late sister's boyfriend" he spat, he swore he could vividly see her smile drop
"Theo, where's Stefan?" she asked cautiously not wanting to provoke Theo in any sort of way
"Don't worry about it." He whispered feeling slight irritated at the constant mention of him
"okay but just answer me this, is he okay?" she asked worried "I will not mention him again, just please answer that, please."
"he's fine" he spoke softly
"just promise me you won't let him die, please" she asked
"no- no" he sang "you said no more mentioning him"
"please? just promise me that" she begged
Theo sighed frustratingly rubbing his jaw, "I won't let him die, I promise" he said giving in
"Thank you, Theodore" she whispered softly
"good night Anastasia" he said
"goodbye" she hung up, leaving him back to thoughts. he needed to keep this promise more than anything if it meant even to get her to trust him a tiny bit again.

hello everyone, i am so sorry for being gone that long. to be completely honest i had no motivation whatsoever to write i apologize again.
