Y/n was a realitively popular person at Hawkins High, she had a average sized friend group, got good grades and didn't get in trouble (atleast never got caught).
Hawkins was a town prone to weird and unexplainable accurances. Y/n and their friends were always in the midst of said accurances but always figured a way to fight them off without too much suspicision coming about.
One windy morning as y/n rode to school they heard a monstrous screech coming from the forest nearby, they stopped with a fright. Heart beating in their ears like a marching band. Hands gripping the handlebars and feet ready on the pedals. Trees started waving at them. Was someone or something in there? Before they could ponder any further, Will Byers sped down the road.
"C'mon y/n, let's go!'
With that y/n and Will rode to school just in time for period 1. The weird incident stuck in y/n's mind all day long.
