"Hey y/n you coming?' Will asked getting his bike from the rack
"I can't, got detention with Mrs Newman"
"Ugh what a bitch, see you later then" Will said riding off.
They didn't have detention with smelly Newman, they just needed an excuse to go check out what that weird noise was. It had peaked their interest and could not leave their mind through classes.
Once y/n got to the place it happened they dumped their bike down in the dirt and slowly made their way into the forest, keeping an eye out for anything unusual. After fighting demogorgons, mind flayers and more, y/n knew that anything could happen. As they went deeper into the forest the trees around them engulfed their vision and the smell of pine and warm breeze fulled their nose. Even the sound of the stream in the distance and birds singing in the trees created an atmosphere of serenity. Suddenly there it was again, the same scuffling and creaking of something living but this time it was behind them.. Y/n spun around on their heel to come face to face with...a demogorgon.
