she is sick
a hospital bed
a diagnosis
a bottle of meds
he
is
strong
for
her
but really
he is scared
will i lose her?
he holds on
to hope
grips it as tight
as he holds her
like he might
stop her
leaving him
alone
she catches him
once
head in his hands
tears down his cheeks
wrapping him up
in her arms
mist
in her eyes
"i am still
going to
marry you
one
day"
a promise
she plans
on keeping
