"Aphrodite?What are you doing here?"
"Well...you see I came to find you really"I fiddle helplessly with my ring.
"Why?Is something the matter?"
"Not really." I shake my head,"Maybe we should walk?"
Hera stares at me and ponders.She nods.
As we walk I try to make small talk,
"Phersaphone has done a great job at the flowers this year,don't you think?"
"They are splendid.I hear you and Ares are having...difficulties?"
"Ah yes..."
"Is that what you wanted to talk about?"
"..."
"I suppose..just give him some space."
"You really think?"
"Of course.He'll come running to you eventually."
"Your saying?"
"Make him jealous.Maybe flirt with another god...perhaps Hephaestus?"
"WHAT!"
A bunch of tree nymphs appeared, possibly 10,Hera shooed them off with a flick of her hand.
"Him..?I would never!"
"Why not?"
"He Hates me!And I hate him!"
"Get a grip.Just get close to him and then see what happens."
"Okay...I'll see you later then."
Hera nods in agreement and shows her true form,a peacock,then disappears in a cloud of light.
Time to go see...
Hephaestus...uck!
As soon as I got to his "bunker" I immediately regretted going there.It had a bronze-y colour to the walls with black goop on the walls and floors.There was work benches everywhere,complete machines scattered on the floor.Tools on the walls and benches.Then I saw him.
"...Knock Knock?"
"AH!Aphrodite!?What in Hades are you doing at one of my workshops?"
"Came to talk?Is there a place to sit?"
"Yeah over there."
He pointed in the corner to a worn out wooden chair.I walked over it and asked,
"What's all the black goop all over?"
"Oh that?Just oil it'll probably ruin your dress"
"I suppose I won't wear dresses when I come here"
"What was that?"
"Oh,nothing!"
