Max woke up first that next morning. It took her a second to remember everything that happened last night. Her fingers subconsciously went back to tracing Lucas's abs. She was so content, just laying there with her boyfriend, as he held onto her like she was going to disappear from his arms.
Lucas woke up a little while after Max. Max knew he was awake because his hand started running through her hair and his breathing sped up just a little. But neither of them said anything. They both sat there in a comfortable silence. Max couldn't remember the last time she had felt this safe and content. She felt like as long as Lucas was with her, she didn't have to be worried about anything.
Lucas finally broke the silence. "You are so beautiful Max." Max finally moved her head and looked up at him. "Now what prompted you to say that, Stalker?" she said with a smile on her face. "I don't know. I was just thinking and I was thinking about everything I love about you and I just came to the conclusion that you are beautiful." he said as if it was the most obvious thing in the world. "Well, what do you love about me?" Max asked.
Lucas went silent for a second, then started speaking again.
"Well, I love the way your lips feel against mine when you kiss me. I love the way you are independent but you're not afraid to soften up and be vulnerable with me. I love the way you hold my hand. I don't know what it is about it, but I just love it. And I love the way your hands feel against my bare skin."
He said that last part in a slightly suggestive tone. He moved his hands down to Max's hips and pulled her on top of him.
"Oh is that so?" Max said, giggling a little when Lucas squeezed her hips, tickling her. "Yes it is." Lucas replied. Lucas looked at her with a look of love and compassion and adoration, but also a look of lust. Max leaned down and put her hands on his chest, so her lips were just barely brushing over his. She wanted to kiss him so badly. But she also loved the control she had over him. She could sit here like this all day and Lucas would never lean up to kiss her. He always waited for her to do that. Well, when she was on top of him. She liked taking control sometimes. Sometimes.
But she finally gave in to the temptation that was Lucas's lips.
It was slow and sweet at first. But then she deepened the kiss. She opened her mouth, just slightly, and Lucas took the opportunity to slip his tongue into her mouth. Her hips started rutting instinctively, something she had never done before. Max moaned into the kiss, careful to not be too loud. She was so needy already and it was only 8:30 in the morning.
Their makeout session was rudely interrupted by Joyce knocking on their door. "Morning kiddos! You guys up yet?" Joyce asked through the door. Max pulled away and rested her forehead on Lucas's, trying to catch her breath. She was considering staying quiet but then Lucas spoke up. "Yep! Max is not wanting to get up yet so let me try to get her out of bed." Lucas said. "Ok! Take your time!" Joyce said, and then she walked away.
Lucas and Max just sat there. Then he finally spoke up. "That was new." he said, gripping onto Max's hips to signal what he was talking about. Max blushed. "I'm sorry. I don't know what got into me. It just... happened." Max said, sounding shameful. "Max don't be embarrassed. It was pretty hot." Lucas said with a smirk on his face. Then, he lifted Max off of him, put her back down on the bed, and got up to get dressed. "Oh my god I hate you, Stalker! UGH!" Max screamed as she hid her face in a pillow.
Lucas just laughed. "That's not what your hips were saying 30 seconds ago." he teased. Max threw a pillow a him. "SHUT UP!" she groaned.

After about 15 minutes of teasing Max in the privacy of their own room, they went out, and found breakfast waiting for them on the table. "Well, well, well! Look who we have here! How was-" Murray was cut off by Joyce slapping him in the stomach. "How did you guys sleep?" Joyce asked, giving Murray a very annoyed look. "Pretty good actually! Although, it was kinda hot in the room last night." Lucas said. "Oh I must have forgotten to turn the AC on for that room! My bad! Remind me tonight! Don't want you guys to be all hot and sweaty when you go to sleep." Murray said with a chuckle.
Max and Lucas were so confused as to what was going on. Like so very confused. No one was telling them anything and Joyce wouldn't even let Murray finish his sentences.
So, the four of them just sat down at the small, rectangular table for breakfast. They had eggs with some hashbrowns and bacon along with some orange juice. A basic breakfast. Joyce asked Max if everything was alright and if she had hurt herself because, she had noticed a "bruise" along her collar bone. Max went bright red and tried to pretend her eggs were just really hot. For starters she didn't realize her shirt collar revealed her collarbone and second, when the hell did Lucas give her a hickey. Oh my god that boy is gonna get it later.
"Oh yeah I uh- I walked into a doorframe the other night. It's fine though. Just a little sore." Max replied. She looked at Murray, who was grinning from ear to ear. "Oh sweetie I'm sorry! That sounds painful." Joyce replied. Max just nodded and kept her head down, finishing her breakfast. Lucas had a calm look on his face. But Max saw his shoulders shaking, threatening to give away the laugh that was bubbling up inside him.
But that laugh quickly went away when Max kicked him in the shin under the table. She gave Lucas a glare and he just smiled back at her. That boy had so much power over her. Oh how she hated it.
She actually secretly loves it. But of course, Max would never admit that.
