Chapter 2

Hindi pa rin ako makapaniwala sa nangyari kagabi. Mas lalong hindi ko matanggap na maaabutan niya ako sa ganoong itsura. But I'm half thankful for the dinner that he brought. I didn't know he's that kind of person na naniniwala sa ganoong tradisyon.

Bukod sa nangyari kagabi ay isa ko pang iniisip si Mama. Ngayon na nagawa niya akong contact-in paniguradong uulit na 'yan. Hindi sa gusto ko siya pag damutan bagkus masakit isipin na kaya niya ako tinatawagan ay dahil may kailangan siya at hindi sa kadahilanang nagsisisi siya sa nagawa niya o nag-aalala sa akin.

Sinong anak ba ang hindi masasaktan na pagkatapos itaguyod ang sarili sa loob ng ilang taon dahil itinakwil nang sariling magulang ay magagawang tumawag para hingan ng pera?

I can't deny that a part of me still hates her for abandoning me and for never been there by my side since I was born but still that decision mold me to be an independent person.

I can't say that I'm strong  because small things still affects me and I'm just busy with work to not have time to think of my status.

I can't say that I'm successful because what I really want is to be a model and I am still budgeting my salary to survive a month. Nauubusan nga ako ng pagkain sa ref.

What's more important is I don't give up and lose hope easily for I know that everything happens for a reason. There's always a purpose for every circumstances.

Now I'm inside the van preparing for another photoshoot. This time it's a phone what she will model.

We have now arrived at the studio and just fixing our things in our room.

I don't know who will be Scarlet's partner for this one but I'm hoping that it won't be Klaus. I'm still embarrassed about what happened yesterday.

Tapos na namin ayusan si Scarlet kaya ngayon ay mag re-ready na para sa photoshoot. Pagkalabas namin ay siya ring pag bukas sa pintong katabi namin.

It's Klaus!

I feel like all my blood flushed down through the bottom that I could faint in shocked. But I still expected it that he will be her partner.

Kasabay na paglabas ni Klaus ay ang kanyang manager. Madali itong lumabas at lumapit kay Scarlet na tuwang tuwa.

"Scarlet, dear!" Niyakap niya pa ito at bineso. "You and Klaus have been trending since your latest photoshoot! They're requesting for your love team. And that's why you both are here now as partners!" She said with high pitched tone.

"Yes, I've seen it. It was on news too." Scarlet said like she doesn't care and like that happens everytime.

"Bakit nga ba hindi ka pumasok sa pag a-artista? Paniguradong mas lalakas ang love team niyo!" The manager said excitedly.

"Hindi ko eksperto ang pag a-acting, Madam." Saad niya.

"I know a good workshop that'll help you!" Talagang pinipilit niya si Scarlet dito.

"Pag-iisipan ko. If you don't mind uumpisahan na namin ni Klaus ang trabaho."

That's their last conversation before they start with modeling.

Lahat ay naging busy na sa kanya-kanyang trabaho.

Sa tingin ko ay hindi naman ito masyadong magtatagal dahil cellphone lang ang imo-model. Hindi tulad ng mga branded clothes na inaabot talaga ng oras sa photoshoot. Ngunit kahit saglit lang ito ay anong oras na rin kami makaka-uwi dahil gabi na noong sinimulan ito.

Pinuntahan ko na si Scarlet para sa retouch niya. Hindi naman siya mahirap make up-an dahil sa natural niyang ganda. At light lang din ang theme para sa shoot na ito.
