It had been a month living like that. Ishqi was adapting to the new environment, learning new things, making new friends and creating a new life.
Ahaan had turned a bit used to the distance, they usually texted each other in part of the days they could. Ishqi usually got free between Ahaan's sleeping time so didn't disturb him, while Ahaan would text her before her sleep time.

Voice Note
He played the voice note as soon as it arrived, he missed her voice, her bubbliness. "AVM! Aap sirf mere hai, aap Rhea se zara durr rahiyega samjhe?" Ishqi said in her always-so-cute voice and Ahaan smiled. "Okay Mrs. Malhotra!" Ahaan knew she'd blush hearing that.
Dhal rahi shaam hai
Dil tere naam hai
Iski aadat bani hai teri yaariyan
She sent him a picture with a cute pout and he chuckled seeing the picture. "Bhai, yeh kya ho rhea hai?" Kartik came inside Ahaan's cabin. "Mr. Triple S, aka mere bhai, phone parr busy hai. Yeh kuch different hai."
"Kartik, ek joke pdh raha tha!" Ahaan was about to record a voice note for her when this sound got recorded and was sent.
Hawww mai ek joke hoon?🥺
The risky Ishqi is not a joke😉😂
Jaayiye mai aapse baat nahi karungi🤧

He ran towards the window of his cabin to realize their time difference. "Ishqi, yaha abhi chand aaya bhi nahi hai!"
"Sorry!" She said over the call.
Yeh ishq ki inteha
Lene lagi imtehaan
Hadh se guzarne lagi hai meri chahatein
They both were about to sleep when Ahaan sat there on the bed typing a message. "Missing you likhunga toh Ishqi sochegi kitna chep ho gaye hai... Wait, mai Ishqi jaisi language kyu bol raha hoon?"
He typed for sometime, "Thinking about you... nah!" He got a call from Ishqi. "Kya script likh rahe hai aap?"
"Bass soch hi raha tha ki kya likhu..." He couldn't even complete when he heard Ishqi talking to someone.
Dhadkan ki betaabiyan
Karne lagi ilteja
Lag ja gale se zara
Toh mile rahatein
"What the fudge Nisha, this wasn't required, chalo tum rehne do mai karr lungi," She said and came back on the phone. "Hanji AVM!"
"What the fudge!" Ishqi chuckled, "Han, yaha toh sab hi-fi english bolte hai na!" She whined. "Achha bataiye aap kya karr rahe hai?"
"Bass aapki tasveero ko nihaar rahe hai." Ahaan said flirtily.
Bas tujhe chaahna
Ik yehi kaam hai
Kaam aane lagi sari bekariyan
"Shahrukh dekh rahe the kya?" Ishqi asked chuckling. "Chote chote Delhi me aisi thodi bahot picturey toh dekhni padti hai Ishqirita!" Ahaan and Ishqi chuckled.
"Tum India kab aaogi?"
"Aap Singapore aa jayiye na!" She said childishly. "Ishqi kaam hai!"
"Mujhe bhi hai, aur vaise bhi dadiji ko pata chal gaya toh hamara yeh milna bhi band karwa dengi!" She realized she shouldn't have said like that. "Han sahi kaha!" Ahaan chuckled and she relaxed.

"Ishqi maine kabhi nahi socha tha hum aise..." Ahaan smiled over the video call as Ishqi requested him. "Han, AVM, sorry, mujhe office se call aa raha hai..."
"Hmm!" He smiled and they cut the call.
Hai pyar toh kayi dafa kiya
Tujhse nahi kiya toh kya kiya
Tera mera yeh waasta
Hai iss zindagi ki daastaan
Ya phir koi humara pehle se hai raabta
"Hum shaayd destined the, kabhi nahi socha tha mai apne hi best friend ki fiance, khair, Mayank ke baare me bhi dhundhna baaki hai. Pata nahi kaha hai vo, Raj se puchta hoon." He opened his phone and called Raj.
