Ishqi was in her orientation hall and they were being given instructions of dealing people at the hotel. In Singapore, she was the receptionist of the Ibis Styles, one of the most beautiful places in Singapore.
"Excuse me sir," Ishqi called the HR. "Ishqi tumse kaha hai na ki out of work I am Akshay!" Ishqi smiled, "Okay Akshay, I hope iss baar Monday ka off rahega?"
"Yes yes ofc, I know Sunday ko hamara vo night shift hai. Don't worry it'll be off." Ishqi smiled and left.

Ishqi was settling there, she was enjoying the time. Making new friends, meeting new people, creating new experiences.
Masi was also happy seeing her like that, they used to eat together, watch Bollywood before sleeping.
"Ishu, mujhe nahi dekhni!" Ahaan whined over the call. "AVM chup chaap se dekhiye!" Ishqi and Ahaan had planned to watch Jab We Met together.
Kal pe sawaal hai, jeena filhaal hai
Khaanabadoshiyon pe hi jaane kyun

They started watching Jab we met and soon Ahaan started to enjoy it. "Yeh Geet ek dum tumhare jaisi hai..." Ahaan teased Ishqi, "Mr. AVM aap toh Aditya hai, vo bhi starting wale!" She showed him her tongue while both laughed.
"I love you Ahaan-" Ishqi said out of nowhere, "I miss us Ishqi!" He smiled at her.
Mera falsafaa kandhe pe mera basta
Chala main jahaan le chala mujhe rasta
Boondon pe nahin
Gehre samandar pe woh oo woh...
"Aaj meri friend apne boyfriend ke saath date parr gayi thi aapko pata hai." Ishqi pouted. "Hum kab jaa payenge, tum India aaogi tab!" Ahaan said comforting her.
"Mai pata nahi kab India aa paaungi AVM." Ishqi sadly replied.

It was 3 weeks since Ishqi had settled. Both were now comfortable and used to their chats and video calls. Ishqi called Ahaan. "AVM!"
"Ishqi!" She looked at her phone finding Sonu and Kartik staring at her. "Hi, Kartik... Sonu..." Ahaan saw them and came there grabbing the phone but Kartik didn't give him.
"Oh toh yeh chal raha hai yaha, video call pe saath me hi rehte hai dono. Tabhi bhai itne khush hai!"
"Kartik!" After their teasing, his siblings left while he smiled at Ishqi, "Bolo Ishqi."

"Hum bhi date pe jayenge!" Ishqi said excitedly. Ahaan looked at her confused, "But hum kaise?"
"Bass aap dekhte jayiye Mr. Ahaan Veer Malhotra, Ishqi aapke saath date pe jayegi!" Ahaan heard someone calling him so he smiled and cut the call while she smiled excitedly for the surprise.

And that's another one, I know this story is very simple, soft and monotonous but that's how I had taken the plot to be, showing the affection of long distance relationships.
