lip newby had a passion for two things in life: skateboarding and photography. when a fierce red headed girl entered his small town world, he was obsessed immediately.

oooo. pretty much lip is taking photos of his town when he happens to notice the new red headed girl in one of his photos. he tells his friends how she's like the prettiest girl ever and they all tease him. the next day she's in their class and they tease him crazily.
oooo. follows the plot of season 2 and on
oooo. joyce will take in lip after his dad dies. he'll be there that day with them at the lab. really sad chapter :( and it kind of ruins any progress max and lip had crush wise because he's just too broken to be in a relationship.
oooo. max can obviously sense the sweet boys crush on her and she develops one on him but before anything can happen, bob dies and lip's broken. so he kind of pushes her away but throughout s3 part they get closer again and once again, before they can get together, billy dies. except this time she doesn't push him away. he's there for her and there's flashbacks of their sweet moments.
oooo. during the s4 part, vecna definitely gets to him. it's really up to you how that goes but i would prefer they at least kiss if you're gonna kill him in the end 😭
oooo. lip is a very kind hearted kid who's too confident and sarcastic for his own good. but he can be awkward at times. think of a young sirius black when writing him.
oooo. lip thinks his dad is nerdy and kinda weird but he loves him and they have a good relationship. his mom left him when he was little and so it was always him and his dad. there must be flashbacks of sweet bob/lip moments throughout the book. i beg.
oooo. also bob called lip "phil" and he was the only one who did so. it was so sweet.
oooo. lip's kinda lost in life after his dad died. he realized there more to life than just wanting to be popular or date max. he's kinda lost. i lowk beg that he has a big brother / little brother relationship with jonathan and eventually steve. i think that would be sweet asf.
oooo. max is not impressed by lip in the beginning but she secretly loves how he pines for her despite how many times she turns him down.
oooo. they have a cute skateboarding moment for the season two part. that's when max develops a crush on him. and yes, it's their final sweet moment for a long time 😭
oooo. lip is always coated in a sweater, jeans, converse. even in summer. it's always his dad's old sweaters since he grew up kinda poor (which he was always embarrassed about growing up since he got bullied for it). but the sweaters become sentimental after the events of s2.
oooo. i feel like for s4 (the byers don't move) he's now fifteen so he's like old enough to work and he wants to pay back joyce for like letting him lives there so he works with steve and robin at family video. he and steve become like brothers it's sweet.
oooo. he's been apart of the party since kindergarten. so bob and joyce alwyas knew eachother but they didn't act on anything until lonnie left and lip's mom was out of the picture.
oooo. lip is truly the only one who fights to make sure max is okay after billy. he doesn't let her cut him out.
oooo. no one else in the party has a crush on max unless it's like a small one
oooo. instead of madmax, they know of her bc of lip's photo
oooo. lip is kinda mean to joyce at first bc he doesn't want anyone to take his mom's place but he becomes like attached to her after bob dies
oooo. another sweet moment set in between or during s3 is when max tries to ask lip to a movie but all their friends like "ooooooh" them which makes them both too nervous. they make the plan but then the whole billy thing happens.
oooo. lip's song that saves him from vecna is "girls on film" bc max was his girl on film. <3
oooo. very angsty sad fic!! it's up to you if it's a sad or happy ending.
