I've been walking for hours. I know Daryl's around here somewhere. It's weird but I can sense it. Like a mothers sense when's something's wrong.

I know but I don't know where and it's killing me! My nails breaking the skin at the palm of my hand snatches me from my thoughts. I gasp in pain and quickly regret it.

I saw movement in the corner of my eye and turned swiftly pulling my knife and scaring the living crap out of Tyreese.

"Tyreese..." I slowly pulled away fear fresh in his eyes. I slid my knife back in my holster and turn angrily.

"Emily. I thought you were looking for another place to stay." He said coming up next to me matching my pace. I ignored him for while but he finally stopped.

"Tyreese, I lied. I'm looking for Daryl." I say the words making my throat close up. I stop and wait for him to yell at me curse at me, something but it never came.
He said nothing just walked ahead of me and made a motion to follow or be left.

Staring forward watching Tyreese was torture.

He was muttering to himself keeping his eyes on the dirt road. We were moving through a forest and with every movement I was tempted to pull out my knife and attack.

I held it together, barely.
"Tyreese" I say to the open. He was still muttering to himself. I stop walking.
"Tyreese!" I say louder trying not to draw more attention than I needed to. His eyes flicker towards me then I see a pained look in his eyes. It quickly fades into dull realization.

"What, Emily?" he replies softly.
"We need to find a place to stay, it's getting darker." I tell him forcing my throat not to clench up. He takes this into consideration and nods, although I don't think he heard me.

We finally come up on an old house. Funny a house in the middle of the woods. But frankly I don't care right now. My feet were aching and Tyreese was still muttering to himself. I slowdown to nudge by him and guide him into the house.

"Anyone home?" I yell banging on the wall. I wait a moment. Nothing.
"Alright Tyreese nice and easy." I say my headache returning for revenge.

"I got it Emily. I can see my way around a house." He snaps.
"I'm sorry, I-I just tried to help." I stutter backing away from him.
"Yeah well sorry doesn't fix this mess!" He's almost at a yell. I do the unthinkable. I hug him.

Comforting him to make him calm down. If he didn't shut up this two story house would go up in walkers. He's tense at first but then loosens and starts to cry. His wails pierce my ears sharpening my headache.

"Shhh its gonna be ok." I repeat over and over siting down with him on the nearby couch.

He finally let's go and passes out from crying and blistering my ears. I sit for a moment studying the living room table. Pictures of the family scattered around. I would cry if I didn't hear a loud banging on the door.

I freeze and go for my pistol, a better weapon, slowly standing up. The banging rings again my head making it hard to stand. I push away the pain and walk closer to the door.
My breathing quickens as I look out the window near the door. Horror struck as the door came busting open wallkers streaming inside.

"Tyreese!" I scream at the top of my lungs. Shooting the undead left and right running towards him. "Tyreese get up!" I jolt him awake. His eyes flaring and hands moving to his hammer.

I dash to a backdoor to find it jammed unable to open it I smash a window. "Go now!" I demand him as he smashes in another head. He turns and dashes out probably expecting my to follow. Not this time.

Running to the basement was my only hope. Turning to shoot one last time I run downstairs.

Their were too many to fight. I struggle to protect myself. I slam a door shut and find a basement window. It was just big enough for my slim figure. Smashing it open with a lamp light made shards fly everywhere.

Banging grew louder as the other door wears away. Struggling through the window I grab a tree stump and pull through. Falling out on the ground I huff breathing hard.

Breathing was getting harder I couldn't move but knowing I had to I get up my muscles burning to stop and fall back to the ground. I run through the dawn light and don't stop.
