Caroline wants me to help out with setting everything up for the Comet. "This damn this has been traveling across space for thousands of years, why is it special this year, today?" I angrily shoved a balloon into a kids face, their mom turned to me with a glare, I returned it along with a wave. The kid didn't seem to mind so I went on and walked to my sister. Noticing the guy that was assigned to the popcorn machine was staring at my sister's ass, I walked over and pushed him, "Get to work, I may not be part of the committee, but I can still kick you out of the event for harassment." He rolled his eyes and moved over to the side, away from me. Making sure he was doing his job, I waited till he began to sell bags of popcorn, freshly made. I turned around and saw Caroline walking slowly toward the street, her eyes pointed forward. I followed her sight and saw Damon, the only other person that pisses me off more than Vicky. Just as I was about to call out for the blonde, I saw the man disappear, my mouth dropped, and Caroline stopped mid step. "Great another creep." I walked away, picking up a stack of papers on my way to where there was a large crowd. "Please come to the Night of The Comet. We would love to see you there." I handed over a flyer, over and over again till night was almost here.

I spent hours passing flyers to people and my feet were killing me. It had only been twenty minutes since the event started, there were already a lot of families and friends gathered to watch the comet. I kneeled over and rubbed my ankles, "Can I have one of those?" I looked up at the voice and groaned aloud. Walking away as fast as I could I tried to get between the crowded park to get away. "Please-" I took all the papers I had and shoved them into a guy's hands, he was walking by. The guy looked at me annoyed but continued walking nonetheless.

"Would you look at that, I don't have anymore. You'll have to ask for someone else. Now, if you'll excuse me." I turned to leave again but Jeremy's hand shot out to stop me. I sent him a glare and ripped apart from him.

There were many people in this park, yet I could feel the eyes of one person on me, I feel a shiver run through me, "Excuse me, is there a problem here?" Snapping my head up, I was surprised to see Damon by my side. His mischievous smirk on his face as he placed a hand to my hip, carefully right on the curve, his thumb rubbing circles. I sent him a glare, though I was grateful he stepped in I still don't like him. Jeremy shook his head and walked away, he looked over his shoulder one final time before mixing in with the people surrounding us.

"Ugh." I sigh, brushing my hair off my face and turning to look around the park. "I want to go home." Damon chuckled by my side, I nearly forgot he was here. "Let go of me, would you?" I tapped his hand signaling to let go. He did, but left one last squeeze before retracting his palm, I could feel the warmth of his skin still on mine. "What are you even doing here? Aren't people your age busy-Do you even work?" His eyebrows furrowed, almost like he thought I was joking and waiting for me to laugh. "Whatever," I turned to the direction of the grill and walked away from him.

Stepping into the Grill, I searched around for my friends and saw Caroline standing by a table with Elena, Bonnie, Tyle and Matt. "You slept with Vickie Donovan? I mean, Vickie Donovan slept with you?" At the sound of this I turned to the left and saw Matt standing beside Jeremy.

"Is it so hard to believe that a pedophile would take advantage of the broken, beaten and the damned?" I cut in, taking the beer Tyler was holding. I chugged all of it, ignoring the stares and sat down beside Elena, she was the only one not looking at me.

"There's no way!" Tyler spoke firmly, his eyes darting between Care and Matt. I snorted and took another drink from the table.

Jeremy took the glass from me and handed me a water, I pushed aside and took his sister's shot. "And I didn't even have to force her into it." At that Matt became furious but kept calm and told everyone to shut up and help him find his sister. I didn't even know she was missing, I thought she was still in the hospital.

Bonnie was about to leave when she saw me take a full bottle of tequila from the table and began to pour a shot for me. I pouted when she snatched the bottle, I had to follow her out the Grill and help her search for the predator, I can have my liquor once we find the dead girl walking. We searched everywhere and couldn't find her. Matt called Bonnie and said that he had his sister at the Grill, Stefan had found her wondering around, her patched up neck bleeding out now. I didn't really care, maybe if she was nice and didn't make her brother worry all the time, and not mess with my best friend, I wouldn't hate her as much as I do. But I'm asking for too much.

Care let out a deep sigh, "Ah, so much drama. Ever notice how the druggies are the biggest attention whores?" Bonnie nodded in agreement, and I laughed loudly.

"That's just how Vickie is though, and Jeremy just had to fall into her trap. She's like a Venus Fly Trap and Jeremy the bug stuck in her grip. She's just feeding off him, slowly draining his life away." I closed my eyes and rubbed my temples. Caroline massaged my back as I hiccupped, my head felt light, and I think I was burning up. I was sitting between the two and gasped feeling the urge to vomit right before me.

I heard Stefan's voice then snapped my head up at Bonbon's "I'm going to give you Elena's cell number and her Email. She's big on texting, you can tell her I said that." I touched Bonnie's arm with my own as she reached over and handed Stefan Elena's information which she had written down on a napkin. Suddenly I felt a tingle, a bad feeling of cold and emptiness. I shivered and stood up. "What happened to you- Oh my god!" Stefan gave her a confused look "Sorry that was so rude." She stood and held me by wrapping an arm around my shoulder, "Sorry, I have to take this one to the bathroom-Caroline a little help with your sister please!" I blacked out and don't remember much, just that I was taken to the bathroom and tossed into one of the stalls. Caroline didn't want to hold my hair so they tied back my hair, it hurt when she pulled through the last loop. I'm probably going to have my head throbbing next morning, and not from the hungover.

Bonnie did her best to place me into Care's car, she told me to wait till my sister was back and not run off, but who am I to listen? Apparently a good, well-behaved girl, because I sat there not wanting to risk getting dizzy and throwing up again. I fell asleep and when I woke up the next day, I was in my bed, with no recollection of how or who put me in my bed.
