Chapter 3

I walk into the lunchroom and my eyes are immediately drawn to the twins, sitting with Haruhi, Sakura, and Raya. I grab my lunch and go sit down next to Sakura.
"Hey, guys. What's up?" I ask. "We're just talking about our favorite fruits," Raya responds. "Okay cool," I say back. I pick at my lunch while I listen to the conversation and occasionally respond.
After a while, I zone out and my mind starts wandering toward Kyoya again. Why do I always seem to think about him? Maybe it's because I've known him for so long and our families get along. Even so, there's something about him that just draws me in like a moth to a flame, or a bee to a flower... as I'm in my little world, I hear Sakura say my name loudly, subsequently bringing me back to earth. "Callie. Cal! Calliope!" Sakura says trying to get my attention. I snap back to reality and wince at her last
call for me. "Sorry." I smile sheepishly. "Why'd you have to use my full first name? You know it's only used in important situations so what's up?" I ask. "We wanted to know why you were staring into space." She says in a semi-snarky manner. "Oh. I uh, I guess I just get caught up in my thoughts sometimes." I mutter. "What are you thinking about? Hmm?" Hikaru teases. "Nothing!" I say defensively. "Oh, nothing huh? Well okay then." Kaoru smirks mischievously. I feel the blood pool on my face. "Yes. Nothing..." I mumble quietly. "Anyways, what did I miss?" I continue without skipping a beat. "We were talking about potentially seeing a movie this weekend." Haruhi answers. "Okay cool!" I say back. I quietly finish lunch and head to my next class.

Finally, it's the end of the day. As I already knew, my mom had her assistant drop off three swimsuits. One for Raya and me, and one for Sakura. I head to music room three.

I am SO sorry this chapter is so short. I've been super busy and that coupled with writer's block made this chapter take an eternity to finish. I'll try to get a chapter out by or before school starts (next week for me) but I may not be able to.
