Y/n rushed into the house,tears falling down her smooth skin.Eddie Ran inside after her and sat next to her on the bed.
"Are you okay.." he asked quietly
"Steve...he...Nancy..."was all y/n could make out before letting out a large cry of sadness
"hey..shhhh, it will be okay i promise,I will gladly fight him for you"Eddie said pulling you against his chest
"Do you know why he did it?" He asked curiously
"erm..I,I told him I liked somebody else and he and Nancy just..just.." y/n said before her lip started to quiver and she looked down.
"Shh..." he comforted
"I know I don't like him...it just...it hurt you know.."she whispered ,her voice croaky and her throat dry
Her glossy eyes looked up at Eddie and he smiled at her before pecking her on the head
"Im always here for you,you know that..right?"he asked ŵith hope in his voice "im your best friend.."
"thats it.That's the thing"she muttered
"Hm?"Eddie tilted his head making his tight curls brush his neck
"Bestfriend..."y/n broke down crying again,but looked angry
"You don't get it eddie!it's so obvious" she shouted tears streaming down her face as she wriggled out of his grasp
"What don't I get?your not telling me?}"he asked worried
"Did you not get it eddie,your like my only friend my age,i mentioned I liked somebody else.Have you seen the way I look at you!im head over fucking heels and your oblivious!"she shouted,her eyes puffy and her face wet.her eyes widened regretting the amount of information she let out
Eddie stood there for a few seconds before getting up and pulling her into a tight hug.He was very warm and a grin appeared on his face.
"I like you too y/n"he smiled softly,before pulling away to look at her.He pecked her lips gently a d looked into her dreamy e/c eyes he adored.He didn't want to look away,he opened his mouth to speak but shut it,
"I know you just got out a relationship I see if you don't want to yet,but would you like to go out with me?" He asked timidly
"I'd love to Munson"she smiled before pulling him into a romantic kiss.
"Now,just let me cry for a moment" she smiled
