just a normal day in the gym. with nationals coming up they have to practice extra hard, every single one of them

there were a bunch of emotions flying around during practice. worry, fear, determination

but the biggest one of all

was their love for hinata shoyo

it was no secret that most of the teens in the gym feel some sort of romantic attraction to hinata, who wouldn't?

fluffy orange hair, slim but not weak, bubbly personality and the power to make everyone happy. in their eyes he was an angel, the only thing holding the team together because of the stress with nationals.

his team adored him, if not romantically, then definitely platonically. they would do anything for him, protect him, care for him, fight for him and quite honestly, it was getting to the point they would all die for him.

"hey gather round guys!" coach ukai yelled just loud enough for everyone in the gym to hear him

they tiredly but surely gathered around ukai

"so, I've recently been enlightened to the fact that we are going to have a training camp, with some popular schools-"

"OMG REALLY, DID YOU HEAR THAT TANA-"

"PLEASE... let me finish hinata" ukai sighed. "anyway...it's placed in Tokyo" coach continued "we will use this training camp as an advantage to practice for nationals, especially because it's going to be held for 3 weeks-"

"HUH"

"THREE WEEKS"

"OMG-"

"LET ME FINISH YOU MORONS" the dumb trio giggled at ukais reaction. ukai noticed but just continued on anyway.

"there are many well known schools there that will definitely help us improve, this includes:
-nekoma
-fukurōdani
-aobajohsai
-shiratorizawa
-inarizaki

they all gasped. they've all heard of these schools and know how powerful they are. it's no question it's going to be challenging.

"as you can tell they are very powerful, this means it is going to be challenging but on the bright side, it's good practice" ukai immediately saw the teams reactions and smiled to himself "we are leaving in five days at 5am so we still have the rest of the day to practice, do not be late"

the dumb trio were very excited. it's no question that out of everyone in the team those three are the ones who always express their love for volleyball using excitement and words.

"TANAKA, NOYA, WE ARE GOING TO HAVE SO MUCH FUNN!!" hinata was basically jumping up and down from excitement while everyone else was just watching in awe

"IKR, SHOYO YOU AND ME ARE GOING TO BE THE BEST ON THE COURT" nishinoya was determined, by the effects of shoyo of course

"ok guys stop screamin-"

"SHUT UP NOYA, ME AND HINATA WILL BE THE BES-"

"SHUT UP YOU IMBECILES" daichi yelled putting them back in place, the other third years were snickering while the first and second years seemed kind of scared

"sorry daichi/cap" the three apologised

"alright kids just go continue practice so I can go home" ukai sighed

hinata wasn't dumb

he may not be the best at academics but he wasn't dense and gullible, he knew how to read body language and how to read someone like a book

he's been like that since he was a kid

so it was no question that he noticed the flirting, the stares, the blush. he noticed it all

he just didn't know how to react

when he first joined the team the topic of sexuality's came up. he wasn't ashamed to say he was bi, he just didn't know why they were so eager to find out, he knows now

it started off with small compliments, blushing and stuff. now they make excuses to touch him, play with him, gift him things and spend time with him

It's like they're touched starved, starved from his touch and his touch only

It's always on the back of hinatas mind, he's always wondering how to react or if to flirt back.

so he came to the conclusion, he was going to let them flirt with him until he decides who he likes better

therefore, let the best man win.

"boke, you there?"

"hm?"

"you were spacing out you moron" kageyama growled (you know, because he sucks with emotions). "I was asking if you wanna walk home together, you know, like we normally do?"

kageyama had a bit of a soft spot for hinata, so when he would speak to him his tone would quiet down a bit

"oh sur-"

"hey hinata! wanna walk home with me and tsuki?" yamaguchi questioned while walking up to them. he's ears were red and he's tone wasn't as loud as usual, hinata picked up on this

tsuki was standing behind yamaguchi, avoiding all eye contact with hinata. this made hinata realise that tsukishima is the one who suggested the idea, yama just agreed.

"no he's walking with me" kageyama responded for hinata, he's voice dropped an octave. hinata laughed at the fact kageyama was 'protecting' him from the two teens

"I don't care what you want king, he might as well walk with us"

"NO-"

"I'll walk with all 3 of you guys!" hinata stated with his signature smile, honesty it wasn't really a question, he knew they'd agree.

"ok!/whatever/fine" the three responded, clearly upset with the fact that they can't have any alone time with the orangnett

"ok let's goooo!!" hinata proclaimed running towards the door, the three followed soon after.

I'm honestly kinda nervous at the fact I'm going to have to mention so many characters that would usually be irrelevant if the book wasn't a harem story

I'm really hoping this book turns out ok, and that I won't give up on it if I get bored
