24. Sickness

Tyler's POV

It felt like my heart had shattered when she said, "Can we just be friends?"

I had no strength to go against her words anymore so I simply said, "Yeah let's just be friends." The words I said must've made her a little bit comfortable around me if we're just friends.

"Come on. I'll get you dinner." I said as I held her hand and we got down the stairs.

I left her seated at the sofa and gave her the remote for the TV. I headed for the kitchen and told the Ahjumma to make a light dinner quickly then I went back to the living room and I saw Sarah lying on the sofa, facing the TV, watching a Korean drama called Blood. I only liked American series but I've never tried any of other language kind of programmes. I smiled at the sight of Sarah lying on the sofa with her interested face of the TV drama.

"What?" She suddenly asked as she caught me staring at her.

"Sorry, you looked fun to be staring at." I said with a smile.

"Yah! Don't stare at me." She took her focus back to the TV.

I just ran up the stairs and entered my room. I had a quick shower then I got into my khaki chinos and a green top and a dark green hoody then I headed downstairs.

I sat on the arm of the sofa which Sarah was lying on the rest. "Having fun?" I asked sarcastically.

"Not at all." She sighed.

"Why?"

"I've got nothing to do except to watch this. This is definitely a kidnap. I swear." She pouted.

"Lol. Come then, let's have dinner." I went into the dining room as she followed me. We sat on the two seats which had food in front of them.

"This is seriously a lot." Sarah said as she took her seat.

"Well, kind of." I said then started to eat my food. She also started eating. It felt nice to be next to her once again and having a meal with her.

"Thanks for the meal." She said then got up.

"Where are you going?" I was still eating my food as I never have much of lunch or breakfast.

"I'm tired." She said with a shrug.

"Oh right. When you get upstairs, on your left, you'll see a dark red door." I said.

"Er. Okay." She said then slowly made her way out of the dining room.

"Friends..?" I dropped my utensils and headed for the living room and switched off the TV which was still on. "I want us to be more than friends.."

I then headed up the stairs and turned left and opened the dark red door which led to a large room with wallpaper of black and red swirls. I walked to the bathroom and splashed cold water onto my face then I entered my bedroom and I opened my wardrobe. I took off my hoody and neatly folded it and placed it inside my wardrobe. I then switched the lights off and slipped into my blanket from the left side. I slowly closed my eyes and smiled sadly, "Sarah really is special." And with that, I entered a deep sleep.

Sarah's POV

My eyes slowly fluttered open and I felt the warmth of the bed. The blanket was way over my head. I felt that wierd feeling of sickness again. I slowly got out from the bed and sprinted into the bathroom and locked it behind me. I put my head down, facing the sink and tried to vomit out whatever was bothering the whole of my sleep. Nothing came out except my eyes releasing little bit of tears. I splashed cold water onto my face twice and sighed then I opened the door and entered back into the dark bedroom. It was still dark outside I guess. I crawled under the blankets and closed my eyes while looking up at the ceiling. Urgh. It's so hard to be comfortable on an unknown bed! I turned to my left and cuddled to something which felt warm. I opened my eyes slowly as I heard a quiet breathing. A loud gasp left my mouth. Someone was sleeping next to me. I couldn't see who it was so I slowly moved away from them but as I tried to move my hands which were cuddling onto the arm of the person, I felt a warm hand wrapping around me, leaving my head lying in their arm.
