Yuzu’s POV:
I came home and I took the box that was under my bed. There were all my photos with Mei, all our happy memories. I never stayed in my house next to Mei's house after the whole thing happened. I stayed away from the house, which would be good for everyone.
Lying on the bed and looking at my Mei's photos, I started falling asleep. I don't sleep as early as I have nightmares over and over. Nobody knows except Haru. She tried her best to help me but I shut her out.

"Mei....." I looked at Mei who was laughing so much. We've been dating for the last four years, falling in love. We're in college right now and we joined the same college to be together. We took a room nearby and now we are coming back to our room from our university and Mei cannot keep her hands away from me. She kissed me every where and tickled me.
“Mei.. stop it… I want to go home alive”……I tried to take her hands off from me.
“Yuzu…no vehicle will come on this road at this time and why are you worrying so much…I just want to show my love”, she pats on my shoulder and then starts moving her hand towards my thigh.
“Stop it Mei.. I couldn't concentrate and wear your seat belt first", I rubbed my eyebrows looking at the seat belt which looked detached.
While she was trying to buckle it, Bammmmm… everything went dark…..
I heard someone calling 911 and within minutes I could see someone trying to pick me up.
"Mei... where's my girlfriend?" I asked that person and he looked at me worried in response, "Don't worry, she's being cared for".
That was the last thing I heard and I'm not sure if I've been in this bed. I tried to get up and a nurse came over and said, "Please don't get up".
I just moved around saying, "I want to see my girlfriend," I cried hard. I wasn't sure if it's because of the pain in my arms or because of the pain in my heart not seeing Mei.
They sedated me and after a couple of minutes when I woke up, I saw her grandfather standing next to me with worried eyes.
"How is Mei?" I inquired.
"Yuzu, I need you to do me a favor," he held my hands and begged.

I woke up sweating and wiped away my tears on my cheeks.
“Mei… I am sorry.. but I had no choice," I said to myself and I tried to sleep again but I couldn't. Thoughts started flooding me.
Will Mei find out? Do I get a chance with her again?
