Chapter 46: Excitement

YOUR POV

I am going to give you a warning, when she either notices or I have to tell her.. she is going to scream..

You say as you and Severus walk up to the door of your friends apartment...

You take a deep breath, and with your free hand knock on the door. The door suddenly flies open and you see (Y/BF/N) standing there!

"It's the Snape's!!! Oh how I love saving that.." she says as she claps her hands together and moving quickly to give you a hug..

You did not wear a tight dress because you knew y'all would be going out in public. So she wouldn't notice it unless she felt the bump.. her attention was currently drawn to Severus,

"Hello! How are you Severus." She says sticking her hand out to shake his...

"I am well... and you"
"I am better now that y'all are here! Come in while I finish getting ready!" She motions the two of you in her apartment and you take a seat on the couch..

You two wait for her to come out of her bedroom...
"Hey babe, you ok?" Severus says as he leans in to kiss you on the cheek.

Oh yes.. I'm fine.. sorry.. you say while fidgeting with your hands.. you were just a little anxious to tell her...

"Alright, are y'all ready to go grab some lunch!?"

Uhh.. yes.. but before we leave there is something I need to tell you..
as you stand up, Severus shortly follows.

"Oh God...is this going to be bad?" She says, suddenly looking very worried..

No, you will be very happy.. we are expecting...

"WAIT! WHAT!!" Her voice getting louder as her eyes go wide..

You cup your growing bump revealing it and looking up at her..

It's a boy! I am 3 months pregnant..

Suddenly she runs over and wraps you in a huge hug..

"I'm gonna be an Auntie!!!!" She screams as she jumps and shakes...

She let's go of you and looks at Severus, then suddenly hugs him! "Thank You for knocking up my girl!" She says giggling while he has no clue how to hug or respond to her.. so he just has his arms awkwardly out.

She let's go of Severus and goes back and puts a hand on your belly...

"I am soo happy for you two..." And you see tears welling up in her eyes.. which then makes you cry... You two hug each other, and you feel Severus' hand on your back..

"Let's go eat some lunch shall we?"

After the three of you enjoyed a nice lunch, you went to a shopping area... There was a couple of small little things you wanted to buy just really out of excitement. You knew you couldn't buy too much incase the wrong person noticed you were buying baby stuff. But Severus was on the lookout the whole time..

You were flipping through some baby clothes racks when you saw a cute little black silk onesie.. And it made you smile because it made you think of Severus..

Severus, we should get this... You hold it out to him and he looks down and smiles, "As you wish love.."

and then he goes back to being on guard...

You look over at (Y/BF) and she is flipping through another clothing rack not really paying attention to the two of you..

You grab his arm and pull it down slightly..

Severus.. please look at me for a moment..

He looks down at you, and notices your eyes are watering.. "What's wrong?" He says suddenly looking very concerned..

You're doing it again, you are zoning out and not being in the moment with me..I know you are worried, and I know you want to protect us.. But this is our first time... You begin to whisper... Shopping for anything for the baby and you aren't here with me, even though you are physically here...

You felt bad for using a lot of technical terms but you want him to be in this moment as much as you are.

You can see it in his eyes that he is realizing he wasn't in it...

"I am so sorry..." He says with a look of disappointment on his face...

It's ok! You kiss him lightly on the lips.. I am going to flip through these outfits, when you see something you like tell me..

"No need, I already see something..." He almost growls in your ear as he wraps his arms around you-

"You two need to get a room!" (Y/BF) says as she walks over with tons of things in her hands.. This girl is going to buy out the whole store if we aren't careful..

You giggle and turn red, you keep flipping through the outfits when suddenly Severus stops you..

"I like this" He says pointing at something yellow.. You pull it out and it is a white and yellow shortall overall outfit..
