The masterpiece of the white room only wannts to have an peacefull, average highschool life. Unfortunately, he becomes friend with the king of minuses and chaos soon follows.
The Ayanokoji Group had meet, as usual, at Keyaki Mall. Haruka seems to have heard that Kumagawa and Kiyotaka were with Hiyori at lunch and had taken upon herself to interogate them.
It seems that the poor girl, while very well versed in books, had no real contact with light novels or manga. Kumagawa decided to take tge role of the hero in that instance...as much as he dislikes the term.
While Hiyori talked about various books and even lend to of them to the two, Kumagawa talked about mangas revolving around mysteries and darker themes associated with it like Danganronpa or Kuroshitsuji. As they finished the story Haruka looked a bit dissapointed.
Haruka:So she doesn't date either of you?
Kiyotaka:No. But there's still the possibility of spying on us for Ryuen.
Kumagawa:[Although it is pretty unlikely.]
Kiyotaka:Yeah.
Keisei:His tailing of class D is likely a attempt to find X.
Akito:Who do you think they are?
Keisei:It's probably Horikita or Hirata, right?
Airi:I...I think it might also b...be Ayanokoji-kun. He's really smart!
Kiyotaka:I'm sorry to dissapoint you, but no.
Kiyotaka does desire to really think of other people beside Kumagawa as his friends and he knows it isn't good to lie to your friends. Technically, he only said half a lie.
X is referring to tge person who helped class D behind the curtains. By that logic Kiyotaka wasn't X, but Kumagawa and Kiyotaka together were X.
But his denial might not be enough to convince them. Kumagawa noticed his friend's disaray and decided to intervene.
Kumagawa:[Or maybe it was all an act...maybe Kanji-chan was X all along!]
Kumagawa said that in a seemingly serious tone while staring straight in the eyes of Akito and Haruka. Not one second after the three were crawling on the floor while laughing loudly. Even Keisei tried to hold his laught back while Airi giggled and a ghost of a grin was present on Kiyotaka's face.
Keisei:Pffft! That's...Pfft!
Haruka:Ahahahaha, you're killing me, Kumakuma!
The next day after the classes ended Kiyotaka was confused on what to do. Beside him Kumagawa pointed at a girl in the class, who was obviously staring at him all day, and made a hand movement like telling him to just get it over it.
The girl was part of Kei's group so she can be simply described as a gyaru. She had brown hair and blue eyes. Her name was Sato Maya.

Kiyotaka sighed and got up. His friend was right. It was better to finish it now than later. He didn't like attention and her staring brought nothing but attention.
