Chapter 3 a new friend and a fashion change

Nora POV

i decided to leave the ball and follow the noise and i saw a Girl no older than 15 crying in a  yellow dress that looked like it was covered in dirt and mud and was soaking wet"omg are you ok" i asked in a calm voice while i sat down next to her i looked at her and could see a slight shake of the head "sweetheart can you tell me what's wrong?" i asked looking at her eyes filled with tears i expected her not to answer but then i heard a raspy voice say in a voice almost like a whisper "i was just hanging around the garden when so women came up and pushed me into the fountain and started throwing dirt at me while laughing i started to cry and ran i tried to find my brother but he looked so happy i just came here" she said

" Ok sweetie, we're gonna go to a bathroom so you can change ok i have a spear dress with my friend ok i'll get her to come ok" i told her lifting her head so she looked at me "why are you helping me?" she asked with tears rolling down her pale face "i'm not gonna let this ruin your night even if i get sent home your gonna go out there and feel so special you'll feel and look like a princess ok" i said smiling at her as i saw the ends of her mouth twitch up into a smile "ok lets go".

We get to the bathroom and i start to undo her hair without touching the mask which is pretty hard "oww why do you need to do this i can just leave and come back in new dress"she said trying to grab my hands "because i asked my friend to bring the spare dress i brought over here so we can redo your hair makeup and get you changed because i am not leaving you alone that would be cruel" i told her in a calming voice "but why i didn't do anything to you we haven't even meet and why do you have a second dress?"she asked in coundin "well one my brother randomly wants to wear them so i bring like three extras so he has choices and two you don't need to do anything ok if you did then i would be as bad as the person who pushed you"i replied

She stopped for a second then started to smile "thank you this is probably the nicest thing thats happens in a while" she had a smile fo pure happiness on her face "it's my honour to help a you and i love how happy you are but i need to ask why did she push you into the fountain?"i asked starting to get worried by what the reason was "well it is actually really stupid it was because we had the same dress on and she saw me while i was shopping with my older brother for my dress, so she knew what i was gonna wear!?"she whisper yelled while starting to cry "ok Sweetheart my friends coming now so i'm gonna go get everything then i will come back just start washing your face so it's not as dirty so it won't ruin the new dress ok" i explained but all i got was a nod

I heard the door to the bathroom open and i see puffy with the emergency bag i packed "lady athena i have it" she said handing me the bag "thank you lady Lamb may you please leave i hope you enjoy the rest of your night" i said as she nodded and left the bathroom i locked the door and came back to the young lady "ok what's your ball name sweetheart" i asked "lady admin that's what they call me for the time being" she answered

"ok and i need you to go to the stall and put this if you need help just ask put the mask on before you see me ok it has a dress shoes tirea everything ok i'm sorry if you don't like it but it's all i have" i said while handing her the bag and pointing to the stall on the far left a few minutes later i heard the door open so i looked up from my book and my jaw dropped she looked gorgeous

"Do I look good?" she asked after seeing my face "ad you look beautiful than anyone could even dream of" i said smiling at her "now let's get back to the party i wanna see if i can eat the food and maybe 'borrow' some for later" i said slightly smirking i saw her start to have a mischief smile she then started dragging me back to the party and let me tell you the look on the workers faces seeing us run through the halls in heels were so funny.

And I must say that was the most fun I had the whole night.
