Prom

Finally, it was lunch time, as usual, we headed to the tables where we all hang out at. I sit on top of the table while Y/n sits in between my legs while I wrap my arms around her.

"Prom?"

I asked with a disgusted look on my face

"yea prom"
Ale rolled his eye
"Eh"
"you're not going?"

Y/n looked at me confused
"I don't think so"
I replied back

"Same I probably won't have a date"
Dess looked at Y/n meanwhile we all looked at Carlos, who was dying to ask Destiny out to prom

"Why don't we all go as a group?"

Devyn said as she looked at our big friend group, they all agreed but me

"Proms aren't really my thing"
"Come on you can ask someone out don't you have
someone in mind?"

Y/n was really curious, I thought to myself for a while

"now thinking about it I do"

I moved my hands off  Y/n's waist

"Oh"
"Maybe I'll ask her out"
"Go for it"
Her smile faded

"Soo, are we going as a group? I mean, unless
someone asks us out"

Devyn looked at all the girls that were in our group

"I doubt it though"
Y/n said as she got off the table and stood next to Dess

"guys here are jerks"

All the guys looked at dess she nervously laughed and said
"sorry"
"So what about Y/n"

Priscilla asked as she put her arm around Y/n's shoulder

"what about me?"
"Don't you think someone will ask you out?"

Dess asked
"Eh nah"

We stood quiet

"I mean, if someone does, I'll gladly say yes"
she quickly looked at me and looked away

after school:

I dropped off Y/n and went back to my house and
started thinking about prom and who I was going to
ask out. I had no one in mind until

"Perfect"

I wasn't a "romantic" guy, but I had a few ideas up my sleeve for the girl I was going to ask out.
Prom was in a week, so I had little time
