Michelle followed Eddie back into his trailer, watching as he threw open the door to what would be his bedroom. He whimpered slightly at the sight in front of them. His guitar hung from the wall amongst the sprawling vines.

"It's like she was destined for an alternate dimension," he said, approaching the instrument gingerly. Hands reaching out lovingly. "What do you say guys? Are you ready for the most metal concert in the history of the world?"

He turned slowly to face Dustin and Michelle, his grin growing wider as he did.

"Is that a rhetorical question?" Dustin asked.

"Let's do this," Eddie said, spinning his guitar around so that it rested across his back. They worked together to drag the equipment that was needed up onto the roof of the trailer, wiring it up so that the sound would be heard far away. Then they waited for the signal from the others.

Michelle sat on the rooftop with Eddie as Dustin paced down below, in front of the trailer, waiting for the other's to contact them via the walkie. Michelle's knee was again bouncing nervously as she sat, until Eddie's warm hand stilled it.

"Nervous, Farley?"

"Nervous? No, nervous is what I felt when they were announcing prom court. Waiting in the Upside Down for demon bats to come for us is something else entirely."

"I don't know," Eddie said. "I remember seeing your face at prom. You looked a lot more nervous then, than you do now. You're keeping it together pretty well."

"You went to prom?" Michelle asked, wracking her brain for any recollection of Eddie from that night, but there was nothing. "I don't remember seeing you there."

"You probably wouldn't have. You were a little distracted and I kept to the shadows pretty much all night. I'm not exactly a dance person, but I made some pretty good sales that night."

"I was distracted?" Michelle questioned.

"Yeah, you were all wrapped up in your pretty dress, and your pretty hair, and your pretty face."

Michelle smiled and leaned forward closer to Eddie.

"I always knew you thought I was pretty, Munson."

"I did," he said, grinning at her. "Still do."

"Why don't you do something about that?" Eddie closed the distance between them, pressing his lips into her own. Michelle smiled into the kiss.

"Do you want to go out with me tomorrow?" he asked, barely pulling back from the kiss. His lips still grazing hers as he talked.

"It's a date," she said nodding. Eddie reached down, pulling one of his many rings from his fingers and presented it to Michelle. It was a silver band wrapped around a large black stone.

"Take a girl out to dinner before you propose Munson. It's only polite."

Eddie rolled his eyes at Michelle.
