AKELAS POV (before daryl was found)
It had been at least 2 days since anyone last came I stayed in the same position the entire time. I didn't have the energy to get up I wasn't given food or water.
I heard footsteps getting closer and the door slowly opening the person walked closer I was waiting for a kick or a push but instead I felt a hand pet my back I flinched at the contact .
"I don't see what my son sees in you" I recognised that voice from days ago but why wasn't he hurting me
"He's always had a soft spot for animal he must of got it from his mother" the man kept talking
"Why am I talking to you it's not like you can understand me" the man said
I heard rustling but I didn't move until I caught a scent of food I slowly moved my stiff neck the chain was weighing me down
"It's not much but it's all I could get without getting caught" he said and held his hand out near my face I sniffed and took the food from him after it was gone I curled back up
I felt the chain being removed from the collar and then I heard him retreat from the room but I didn't hear the door shut
I turned my head to see the door slightly open with all the strength I had in me I stood up and there was no chain holding me down but it was lying on the floor
I stumbled to the door entrance and sniffed to see if anyone was there which there was not so I ran down the doorway trying to find an exit
After a couple of turns I smelt someone coming so I hid until the sound of a door opening ahead of me then the smell of fresh air hit me
I took my chance and ran passed his legs and out the door and got away as fast as I could
I heard shouting in the distance they must be hunting me
Back with hydra
"Sir the wolf has escaped" A man ran into the office
"WHAT!"
"Gather everyone up,fully armed and meet out front" the boss told him the man nodded and ran out of the office
"Looks like we're going hunting"
AKELAS POV
I was exhausted by the time I found the opening of the woods which led me to an empty road nothing in sight
I needed to find somewhere I could rest and I really needed food and water I was too weak to hunt
I followed the road for a couple of miles until i caught a scent of food
Up ahead looked like a small town one I recognised from when I escaped last time
I decided to risk it and walked closer to the town hoping I could find food and maybe water even if I have to scare some humans to do it
When I arrived the sky started getting darker which was lucky for me as it's less likely I would be seen
15 minutes later
I searched through garbage only to find nothing not even a scrap of food I started to loose hope, I felt my body getting weaker by the minute it was hopeless to keep searching so I headed towards the cave I hid in before hoping I could rest there.
