After the events of the last Servant meeting Gilgamesh and Kumagawa returned to the Tohsaka mansion. The two were oin the lobby while Tokiomi was downstairs putting the informations they have at disposition in order.

Gilgamesh laid on the sofa, taking all of it, while smugly drinking wine from a cup made of gold. Kumagawa, already used to the view, just laned on the sofa by her side and devoured the box of sweets in his hand

Gilgamesh:You surely like sweets, even though Servants don't requier food.

Kumagawa:[And you never stop drinking wine, even though Servants don't need to drink.]

Gilgamesh:Heh!

Kumagawa:[But Tokiomi-chan is really worried about the Rider situation.]

Gilgamesh:She's a fool, should the situation arise my treasures are more than enough.

Kumagawa:[That's true, like it was with Assasin. Every member of his army might be a Servant, but they're not really strong ones. It wouldn't be hard to take them out with enough fire power.]

Gilgamesh:Exactly!

They heard tge door sliding open and turned to see who entered the room. The two stared at their fellow psychopath, Kumagawa going as far as to wave at Kirei.

Kirei:Archer, Foreigner. So you two were here.

Gilgamesh:Good day to you, Kirei. No making plans anymore?

Kirei:As you see, my command seals are here no more. I'm no longer part of the war, just as my teacher has planned.

Kumagawa:[Not necesarly.]

Kirei:Hm?

Kumagawa:[While it's true they go back to the Grail, the Grail itself might choose another master. It might even choose you.]

Kirei:That is close to impossible.

Gilgamesh:What is the situation with that mad dog? I need to educate him.

Kirei:His master...is not well. I suspect it is nothing new, he has lived a life full of pain and suffering.

Gilgamesh:Does it not entice you?

Kirei:A wretched being such as you might find pleasure in the pain of others. That is a sinner's path, someone that's bound to be punished.

Gilgamesh:Sinner? I need to disagree with you. Finding fullfilment is something that humans naturally do.

Kumagawa:[It's not like youhad no wish for the Grail. It's just that you don't know what you want.]

Kirei:I...

Kirei became silent at his accute description. However, she was surprised as a new set of command seals appeared on her hand.

Kirei:This is...

Gilgamesh:It seems the Grail still holds interes in you, Kotomine Kirei.

Kumagawa:[Why shouldn't it?]

Kumagawa jumped from beside the sofa and captured Kirei in a hug from behind. The priestess herself had no reaction, but Gilgamesh's eyes narrowed in annoyance.

Kumagawa:[You're a real rarity, Kirei-chan! You hold no love or regret for your deceased fatger, do you? Well, you don't hate him either. He did try to teach you morals, but...it never stuck woth you, did it? You're a hollow human being, Kirei-chan. You know how rare that is? Being so undefined and unknown...I think it's the best! Well, I might be a little biased because I'm the same.]

Kirei nodded vacantly, giving deep thoughts to the Foreigner's words. The two Servants perked up in curiosity as they felt a great surge of magical energy in one place.
