Chapter 1: Escapest

Second person:

You stand still and silent in the middle of a lime green smoke as the people around you run wildly as they scream. You squint your eyes to look closer, only to see the Golden Guard and his little army. Pathetic! They look like they are wearing protective, sealed tight hoods around their normal masks. You don't need one around your mask though, thanks to a spell.

"Changer..." He said, stopping his team. That was your name, the name people knew you as atleast.

"Goldie..." You said, basically mocking his words.

"Do you have something to do with this?" He asks.

"Little ol me? Neverrrr!" You say, sarcastically. Even under that mask, you could tell he was annoyed. This was not the first time you have pulled something like this. You were always up to something because you had nothing better to do. You rolled your eyes under your smiley-faced mask. "You're soooo boring. It was obviously me." You sigh.

"I think I know that." He fixes his position. "You are coming with us." He says, pulling out handcuffs and swinging them around.

"Fine..." You start walking towards him.

"Wait what? You always run away! What do you mean by "Fine"?" He asks, surprised.

"I'm bored. Also, I can escape from that prison anytime!" You say as you turn around and let him handcuff you. This whole thing is like a game that you and the Golden Guard played. Cause trouble, get caught, and normally you run away. Today though, you were really bored.

Most of the walk to the castle was just silence AKA more boringness. Is that a word? When you finally arrived to the castle you got a good look around until you were token to your cell. You yawned as the Golden Guard and a few other members of the coven stood in front of you.

"I'm still bored so..." Just like that, you moved your finger in a circle, and a blue circle formed where you traced. A blueish green portal formed behind you and you let yourself fall right in. You were now in a forest that you were very familiar with. Just down the path was your home.

You walked down the path to a circular-shaped hut. You walk in and see your bed right in the middle against the back wall. To your left was a small living room and a closed-off room. To your right was a kitchen. No walls except for the room to the left. It was your bathroom. Home Sweet Home.

You walked over to a mirror that was standing by your bed. You carefully unhook the clip on the back of your head and remove your smiley mask. As you pull the mask down you are slowly revealing what scares you and so many others. What you have hated and tried to hide with a mask. You stare into the mirror as what seems like a monster stares back.

Your green to blue ombre, glowing eyes. The part you hated. Not only that was what you hid. You slowly pull down your hood and take off your cape. This reveals your see-through black wings with a bit of blue at the tips. They looked like torn-up bug wings. You tried cutting them off multiple times but eventually gave up. You hated your eyes and wings because that's why people were scared of you. That's why you were called a beast, a monster, a bad guy...

You sat on the side of your bed, taking off your boots. You fell back onto the surprisingly soft bed. Rolling under the covers and closing your eyes for some much-needed rest.

Y/N POV:

I woke up and got ready for the day by putting on my hood, mask, clothes, and boots. After that, I ate some eggs and head out the door to go to my usual training spot. I could teleport but I wanted to spend some time with my Palaceman. His name was Savage and he was the cutest little snake I have ever seen. We flew to an open area that was surrounded by trees. Lots of room but away from everything and everyone. How I liked it.

I worked a little bit on all of my abilities. Teleportation,  creation, and flying. I teleported around the area for a while because it is my main ability. Creation just means I can make things just by thinking about that thing. You should have seen me when I first learned how to create things. I created a few items here and there but nothing major. I don't like flying with my wings, so I fly around on Savage.

I was just about to leave when...you guessed it. The Golden Guard showed up.

"I thought you would be here." He says, landing on the ground.

"What do you mean by that? And how did you find this place? It is secret!" I ask as I take a few steps back.

"Your a wanted criminal. I have done research on you." He says as he follows me. Every step I take away from him, he takes two steps closer.

"But there are many other wanted criminals around here. Why do you spend your precious time on me?" I ask, acting tougher and taking a step toward him this time.

"Uhh- I do hav- You-" He stumbles on his words.

"Aww,  cat got your tongue?"

"I don't have time for this!"

"Then leave."

I could tell that he was getting annoyed. Even before he pounced on me. I was always ready for a good fight! Honestly, though I did feel bad for the kid. Instead of beating his ass, I just blocked all of his hits. I let him tire himself out until he stopped.

"How? Why didn't you attack me? I know you can!" He asked me, out of breath.

"I didn't want to embarrass you." I laughed. He just looked up at me and gasped for air. "I can give you lessons if you want."

"Why would you do that, for me..?" He asked, finally getting his breath back.

"You look like you need it." I held back laughs "If yes, meet me here in the same spot, tomorrow, around 6 PM. Then we can start training." I turn around and fly away with nothing else to say.
