Riding and Late Night Conversation

{ Sorry I am so late to add this chapter. }

It was the next day Courtney, Kat and Claire wake up and go downstairs to make breakfast. 

" So what happened?" Claire asks.

" What do you mean?" Courtney asked back.

" Your limping, why?" Kat asks.

" Do you remember Lloyd Hansen?" Courtney asked.

" That asshole who shot me, yeah I remember him." 

" He kidnapped Claire and Fitzroy and I had to save them with the help of Dani." 

" But your ok thought right?" Kat asks Courtney.

" Yeah I'm fine," Courtney answered.

" Ok Court," Kat says to him.

She walked outside and did her ranch chores with Claire helped with.

" Hey Six."

" Yeah kid?" Courtney asked.

" Do you know how to ride a horse?' Claire asked

" No not really, why?" Courtney asked.

" Can you learn with me?" Claire asked.

Courtney hesitated for a minute, not knowing how to answer.

" Sure kid," Courtney answered, walking towards her.

" Awsome," Claire said.

Courtney walked up to the horse and saw Kat standing next to the horse on the other side.

" Talk to the horse. Let her know that you are here."

" Whats her name?"

" Emerald," Kat answered.

" Hey Emerald. You be nice to me and we won't have any problems."

Courtney got onto Emerald and Kat guided the horse to the other side of the fence, away from Claire and her horse Joel.

" How are you doing up there?" Kat asked.

" I'm fine."

" You want to take over?" Kat asked Courtney.

" Do you think that I can handle that?" Courtney asked.

" Yes, I think that you can handle it," Kat answered.

" Ok, take the rains. Guide Emerald left if you want to go left and right to go right. If you want to come to a stop just tug back on the rains. And don't be scared. If your scared then Emerald will know that your scared." Kat explains.

Courtney was doing really well for someone who has never ridden a horse before.

20 minutes later he got off the horse and Kat grabbed the rains.

" So what do you think?" Kat asked.

" Shes a beautiful horse and she handles really well," Courtney answered.

" Thanks, she's the first horse I trained."

" Come on its getting dark outside," Courtney said to Kat and Claire.

They made their way up the the medium sized house as the sun fell under the trees. 

Claire and Kat cooked dinner and then they ate. 

" Go get ready for bed ok," Courtney said to Claire.

" Ok. Goodnight Kat," Claire said going up the stairs.

" Goodnight Claire," Kat said back.

After they made sure that Claire was in bed, they started talking.

" What really happened?" Kat asked, putting her hand on top of his.

" They tried to have my kill a Serria agent. But I found out the truth, and they sent Lloyd after me, he kidnapped Claire and Fitzroy, he died so that we could get away and then Lloyd tried to kill me, but his girlfriend killed him. I was then taken into custody by the CIA and I found out that they had Claire, so I got out of there and saved the kid. Now we're here," Courtney explained.

" Did you get hurt?" Kat asked.

" Got shot in the thigh, but I'm fine," Courtney says.

She get up and got her med-kit from under the bathroom sink.

" Let me see," Kat said.

" What?" Courtney asked.

" Let me see it. You could have busted a stitch," Kat said.

" Fine," Courtney said pulling down his pants a little so that Kat could see his wound.

" Well you didn't bust a stitch, buts it's hot as hell," Kat said, putting some cream on it.

 " What is that?" Courtney asked.

" Its will help with the swelling and the heat coming from it," Kat said, gently putting it around the wound.

She got done putting the cream on his thigh and she went to wash her hands, coming back to him putting on some black shorts.

Courtney wrapped his arms around her body and kissed her deeply, which Kat kissed back.

" I've missed you," Kat says, leaning their foreheads together.

" I've missed you too Kat," Courtney says back.

They stayed like this for a little bit, but then Kat asked, " wanna come to bed with me?"

To which Courtney answered," Yeah, I'm tired." 

They walked up the stares and up into Kats bedroom, where she got changed and Courtney took off his shirt, his scars on his body revealing themselves.

After she got changed, Kat got into bed with Courtney and they both fell asleep in each others arms.
