This is an alternate universe Timothée Chalamet fanfic.
I discovered 21 Jump Street (the TV show from the 80s.) I decided to watch, now I'm obsessed.
I thought about writing some fanfiction based on and inspired by the series since I'm so in love with it;
But my idea, is a story where
Tom Hanson, Judy Hoffs, Doug Penhall, Harry Ioki, and Dennis Booker all retired. They are married with kids
It's many years later, and their kids have had kids, and those kids are now young adults in their early 20s.
They become cops, joining what was once called 21 Jump Street, now renamed "23 Jump Street." They work for the revived undercover program
and their job is to investigate crimes in high schools.
This story follows Tom Hanson's granddaughter Francine, as she reunites with her High School sweetheart (Timothée) and becomes his partner for this job.
I hope it sheds light on issues that are going on in the world. (Even though they've been happening for a very long time, they still are happening today and it's important to continue talking about them.)

QUICK UPDATED AUTHOR'S NOTE:
I finally watched the first 21 Jump Street movie from 2012, and I really liked it it's so funny. I decided to also include the characters in the story, so now the show from the '80s and the movie are merged into one universe! Go watch both of the movies if you haven't watched them yet, they came out more than ten years ago at this point)
Even if you have never seen the show from the '80s, or the movies, but you like Johnny Depp and Timothée Chalamet, this is probably up your alley.
I won't guarantee that the writing will be any good, I'm literally terrible at writing but
