I was looking at y/n and Milo playing in the pool meanwhile I was sitting in the lawn chair with Katherine next to me when sheet speaks up

"So I see you getting cozy with y/n" she wiggled her eyebrows playfully, I blush at her comment

"So girl to girl talk, what are you and Matthew are y'all a thing?" She asked looking at me dead in the eye

"We are nothing he was an PR stunt nothing else it was just to get more 'attention' for my new album, I had to do it even if I didn't want to do it my manager told me after the fact they agreed to doing this stunt without even telling me they were going to do this, it was so out of the bloom" I say playing with my fingers "plus If we even did date it wouldn't last I saw him cheat on his girlfriend multiple times, I immediately broke it off as soon as the contact ended" I chuckle at the memory of seeing texts of girls on his phone not one of them were his girlfriend

"Ooh okay i mean i probably would do the same end it as fast as I can but I have one more question do you like y/n?" she asked with a straight face waiting for my answer

"Yes I do like y/n a lot actually which doesn't really happen often, since I've been very cautious on who I fall for because of my last relationship it was very toxic and very unhealthy it was a big mess thank god I'm out of that relationship " I saying playing with my ring I have on my index finger

"Good because i know the way she looks at you is very different from how she looked at her ex's like her eyes light up if you even text her but please don't hurt her I don't want her going back to her old ways like she used to be, she was a mess" she tells me making me wonder what was she talking about

"What y'all talking about" she says lying on top off me with her head on my stomach then stealing a pineapple piece from my fruit bowl
