TW: mentions of gore and mention of bad parenting/abuse
everybody was talking to each other on there way to the creels house, as soon as they got there, there was swarms of demobats.
Eddie sighed "you guys want me to distract the fucking bat things"
"no. your not sacrificing yourself" steve held Eddie's hand, squeezing it.
Eddie slightly smiled at steve "fine, I won't do it"
Eddie thought to himself, he would have to sacrifice himself. but the others would have his back, right?
Nancy looked at everyone "look, remember, Eddie plays his music and distracts vecna, Eddie your the most important role here" she whispered
"are you sure you wanna do this, munson?" steve whispered in Eddie's ear
eddie nodded, knowing that he was deathly terrified to do this. the first thing he thought of when doing this, is when he ran to his uncles house, his hair cut like a hot mess.
"ok are we all ready?" Lucas broke the silence
they all nodded, grabbing a lighter and wrapping a bandage covered in gasoline on there sharp weapons.
they all lit there weapons, walking to the creels house. it made the demobats get out of there way due to the fire
they all finally, walked into the creels house
"Eddie, me, you, and robin go together ok? steve make sure nothing gets in and protect the kids" Nancy looked at everyone
"why am I always the god damn babysitter?!" steve crossed his arms
"because your a hell of a mother big boy" Eddie kissed steve's forehead
steve's face turned a bright red "oh— I— yeah, yeah I do"
dustin, Lucas, and erica all looked at each other and slightly giggled due to all of the mood changes during this
"AUGH! get a room!" Robin jokingly looked away, making a puking motion
"oh shut up your just upset because your not with vickie yet" steve rolled his eyes and quietly laughed
"just stop! we have to do this quickly! i don't wanna be in here anymore" nancy death stared them and crossed her arms
robin, nancy, and Eddie all went upstairs, dodging the vines as best as they possibly could, making it to.. vecnas layer
"Eddie, do it" Robin plugged the guitar into the bass set, setting it right infront of vecna, being as quiet as possible
robin and Nancy hid behind a flipped over table to make vecna think that Eddie was there to sacrifice himself
Eddie turned it up all the way, after breathed in and out deeply, and started playing sex on fire by kings of leon.
vecna opened his eyes to see Eddie, standing in his presents. "what.. are you.. doing here.." vecna deep voice sent shivers up Eddie's spine in fear.
vecna started opening dark memorys into Eddie's mind, the first thing that came was him, at his moms funeral.
Eddie's eyes widen and he fell to the ground, making him drop his guitar as well.
"what is he doing?" Robin looked at nancy
Nancy's eyes widen "fuck! vecna entered his mind and brought up a bad memory" nancy stood up and pointed her gun at vecna "ROBIN NOW!"
robin stood up and went to Eddie, helping him up and lit her bottle, throwing it at him.
vecna tumbled over a bit but regain his balance. "why.. are you guys here..." vecna walked towards robin.
robin quickly threw another one at him, making vecna tumble back "STAY THE HELL AWAY FROM MY FRIEND YOU BITCH!" robin yelled out, throwing another one
Nancy looked at robin and robin looked at nancy, nodding her head. Nancy quickly went next to robin to protect Eddie, Nancy shot him as quickly as she could, cocking the gun back and shooting him again
vecna kept tumbling back, about to fall out the window "never mess with me, and my friends. AGAIN!" Robin took Eddie's spear, lighting it with her lighter and threw it at vecnas chest
vecna took his final stumble and black blood came out of his chest as he fell out of the window.
Nancy and robin looked at each other, then robin kneeled down and looked at Eddie "Eddie are you alright?"
Eddie nodded his head, purely in shock for what just happened.
Nancy dropped her gun and kneeled down with Robin. "we can get out of here now, your safe"
Eddie looked down the ground, thinking about when vecna went into his mind and showed little Eddie, with his shaved hair, standing next to his uncle and his dad, at his mothers funeral. his dad looked at him in disgust and that day, he never saw his dad again.
steve and the kids ran upstairs. "EDDIE!" steve sat down infront of Eddie and tightly hugged him. "are you ok? did he hurt you?"
Eddie tightly hugged steve back, nuzzling his face into his neck and he started crying.
steve looked at robin and Nancy confused. "vecna went into his mind" robin mouthed to steve, steve slowly nodded and started to play with his hair to sooth him
"we need to get out of here" Dustin looked at all of them
"we saved the long haired freak, we get out of here now" erica crossed her arms
steve picked up eddie, as eddie held on to steve tightly. "don't worry eddie, were going home now."
everybody walked out of vecnas layer until they ran into something, unexpected.
