July 6, after Big Hit Entertainment officially revealed their new girl group's name, ONEIRIC, as well as the first member, Mei, the agency opened the group's official homepage. The page opens to the meaning of Oneiric — "The dream You and I share." — and shows a countdown to the next member reveal.
The agency also dropped some additional information on Mei: at 19 years of age (international reckoning), she is the oldest of the group and is an talented artist.
