Mike POV :
"MIKE!!" his mother yelled from downstairs.
"ARE YOU READY??? IS YOUR ROOM CLEANED?? DID YOU CLEAN THE CATS LITTER BOX??" his mom still shouted, why does she have to shout at me we're in the same house.
"YES YES AND YES MOM!!" I shouted back but louder to get on her nerves haha.
I dont even know why we had to clesn the whole house like literally spotless, mom didnt even tell me whos coming and what for. It annoys me that i had to wear this stupid suit too to be "presentable" I might just stay in my room by myself half the night with my cat, he'll keep me company
His name is Loki and hes a black cat, hes only a few months old and I already love him so much. I found him on the streets hurt so I decided to take him home with me but dad wasnt too fond about having an animal in the house, mom was the total opposite she was the happiest to have a kitten in her house
The door bell rang snapping me out of my thoughts
I started throwing some random shit into my closet, they wont look in there anyway.

Will POV :
We were in the car silently driving to whoevers house. Mom still hasnt told me her bosses name? Apparently she has a kid so maybe I wont be alone.
Or maybe her kid is way younger than me im not really in the mood to babysit..
What if her kid doesnt like me? not true everyone loves me. Except 1.
"We'll arrive in about a minute, so guys make sure to be nice and respectful to my boss Karen. This is a very big thing for me and very important to me. Dont sass anyone, give attitude, and be nice to her kid Will..." She said while pulling up into a parking space.
now im scared.

We got out of the car and went up to the doorsteps, mom told me to carry some plate of cookies for her since she made some for her boss. Im tempted to just take one oh my god
Jonathan rang the doorbell and stood infront of us was a blonde lady with blonde curls.
She looks oddly familiar..
"Heyy!! Karen!!!" mom said hugging her in a bear hug
"Joyce!!! its been a minute." Karen smiled.
"MICHAEL! say hi to our guests." she half shouted.
"Mom I was right there you didnt have to sho- WHAT THE FUCK." a familiar voice shouted..
"MIKE LANGUAGE."
That voice sounded way too famil- MIKE.?
I was too shocked to say even say anything I was about to throw these cookies away.
"We're sorry we didnt tell you guys sooner, why you guys hate eachother so much was for a stupid reason! and this is still a job interview. Me and Karen have always been bestfriends so we have lots of catching up to do, so please be nice and try not to kill eachother for a few hours?" My mom said looking at both of us.
"Fine." We both said walking away
"Mike hunny take Will down to the basement!" Mikes mom ordered.
but he just rolled his eyes. Typical.

Mikes POV:
Remember when I said I was hoping for a hot girl at my doorstep? I was way WAY off.
We were now down at the basement just plopped down on the couch, this is going to be the worst few hours of my life. The worst hour of my actual life was when the stupid Fairy next to me stole MY swing on the swingset that one day. I will never get over it
I looked over at him on the couch across from me, he was spacing out.
He was wearing a black blazer and a white button up under it.
It suits him
"stop staring will ya? asshole." he said to me while also looking me up and down.
"you have a booger in your eye" I said mockingly and stuck my tounge out at him
"shut up no I dont stop lying" Will said rubbing his eyes
"you shut up now pass me a cookie" I said now noticing the cookies in his lap
"no they arent for you."
"pass me oneeee pleaseeeeeeeee" now begging, I've been wanted cookies for so long now.
"oh my god" the brunette said while getting up.
He walked over to me and held a cookie up to me.
"feed me" I ordered
"Mike what.. no feed yourself" He rolled his eyes
"feed me my arms are tired"
"feed you? okay." He rubbed the cookie on the couch and put it in my mouth
"WILL OMG DO YOU KNOW HOW MANY GERMS ARE ON THAT COUCH." I half shouted at him
"you wanted me to feed you right so there you go asshole" he said plopping down on the couch next to me.
"whatever" I said rolling my eyes at him then turning on the tv
We watched a movie for a while in silence, this was actually not that bad. 40 minutes without him annoying the hell out of me this is perfect.
I heard the door open then quickly close, then I saw a cat at the basement stairs
"oh my god you have a cat??" Will bursted with happiness running over to it.
"yea his name is Loki" I said looking at Will
He picked up the cat and went back to the couch, this time he was on one side and Wills on the other side.
Do I smell bad
Will then took off his blazer and out a blanket over him and Loki
He just stole my cat.
Will was petting Loki and hugging him while watching the movie while I started dozing off.

I woke up to something dropping next to me, It was stupid Will and the cat sleeping together.
I looked at my watch and it was only 10 pm
ugh.
I took some of Wills blanket cause I was freezing too and wrapped it around myself and dozed off again.
