"The stillness of the fresh leaves are calming, aren't they?" The wind was so gentle and swift, not even the leaves dared to move.

Sat on the bleachers, the two stepsiblings babbled to eachother, both alone together, not a crowd drawn.

"Sure, sure. I don't think this is gonna help us by the way, Hailey." The mauve haired boy scribbled a final note in the paperback diary before shutting it firmly with his palm, "Hailey, don't you see?"

The ocean haired girl coughed, signalling not to speak or be heard, he dimly lit eyes glancing toward a small crowd in the distance. Soccer practice.

Zander finally caught on and immediately both of them were mush, "H-Hailey, inside. Now."

"No wait!" The eldest dragged her brother down to sit next to her this time, "I want to see this."

"Jake?" Zander scoffed, flicking his hair, "Hailey, you're not a soccer person. Neither am I. Let's go." He hopped up and quickly ran towards the exit before something stopped him.

Laughing. A deep masculine laugh. Zander froze, heart stopped spun around to look. His cheeks became rosy, hand on his chest.

That brunette. He was so... Breathtaking none the less. Luke. Such a beautiful name.
