Chapter 24

Loren was anxious today. Well, it's because she's about to confess to Cassiopeia today. Gusto niya mag tapat bago siya umalis.

Sumandal siya sa kanyang kotse habang hinihintay si Cassie na lumabas mula sa building ng kanyang condo.

And there, she saw the woman she loves, sauntered towards with her beautiful smile plastered on her face. Cassie's wearing a simple checkered cardigan and bootcut jeans and adidas forum. It's her casual outfit but Loren still amaze how beautiful the woman is.

"Hey," Loren greeted the moment Cassie stood in front of her.

Cassie leaned to her and kissed her cheek. It's normal for Cassie to do that but it never fails to make Loren's heart beat wildly.

"Hello!" Cassie greeted her back. Pumasok na sila sa sasakyan at nagsimulang magmaneho si Loren.

"Where are we going, Lor?" Tanong ni Cassie sa kanya.

"Bulacan." Sumulyap sa rito at binigyan ng ngiti.

Kunot ang noo ni Cassie sa kanya. "Bulacan?"

"Yes, we have farm in bulacan and I'm going to teach you how to ride a horse." Masayang wika niya kay Cassie. Matagal na nitong sinabi sa kanya na gusto nitong matuto sumakay sa kabayo.

This was supposed to be her wedding gift but things got tangled.

"Really?" She heard the excitement in Cassie's voice, and that's enough for her.

"Yes, Hope." Natawa siya ng marinig ang munting palakpak nito sa tuwa.

You should stop being adorable, Cassie, because it's getting hard to leave you. She said to herself.

Kulang dalawang oras bago sila nakarating sa bulacan. Nagkwentuhan lamang sila ni Cassie sa biyahe. Hindi niya sinabi rito ang pagkikita nila ni Alecksi, sa kanya na lamang iyon.

Bumaba sila sa kanyang kotse at nakita niyang nilibot ni Cassie paningin sa buong farm. Malawak ito, halos wala pang nakatanim na puno. Tanging nandoon palang ay ang mansion at ang horse stable. Ito ang ang una niyang inasikaso matapos bilhin ang lupa.

"This is huge pero bakit konti palang ang nasa farm niyo?" Lumingon ito sa kanya.

"Father and I still thinking of what's best products we should go for. We've been thinking of poultry but we're still not sure." Loren shrugged her shoulder, hindi naman kasi niyang pwedeng sabihin dito na binili niya ito para sa kanya.

"Oh, I see."

Hinawakan niya ang kamay ni Cassie at hinila ito patungo sa horse stable.

"Woah! You have a lot of horses here." Cassie exclaimed.

She giggles at the cute reaction.

"It's not a lot though. Walo palang iyan." Binitawan niya ang kamay ni Cassie, at nakita niya ang bahagyang pagsimangot nito.

Lumapit siya sa isang kabayo at hinimas iyon, "This is West, a Paso Fino horse. This horse is good for trails and gentle." Lumipat siya sa ibang kwadra. "This one is North, an Appaloosa horse. This type of horse are gentle, intelligent and obedient, they're good for competitive sports."

Inisa-isa niya ang lahat ng kabayo sa stable, matamang nakikinig lamang sa kanya si Cassie ng may mangha sa mukha nito.

Lumabas sila sa stable.

"You know a lot about horses and their stuff." Tumingin nito sa kanya ng may ngiti sa labi.

I studied it because of you, that's what she wanted to say but of course she could not voice it out loud.
