As you probably read around the fandom, Soukoku was translated in Eng as 'double black', as 双 /sou/ means 'pair' and 黒 /koku/ means 'black'. It's taken from the title of chapter 31, '双つの黒', which is read as /futatsu no kuro/ and it means 'two blacks'
