Nora and Derek were both in Chicago for there mom's birthday. Nora was in the house with her mother and Sarah while Derek was out with Desiree other sister.
They were sitting on the couch teasing Nora.
"Soo..." her sister nudges her shoulders. "How you and your white man."
They both laugh when you blush. You groan and hide your face in your hands. "Can you not! We aren't even together. We're just best friends."
They both gave her a look. "Stop lying. You talk about that man any chance you can get especially his child." Your mom says.
"We'll yeah because Jack is so adorable. If you meet him the you'd get what I'm talking about." Nora says trying to defend her self.
"Why don't you two just date. It's obvious you like each other. And he's divorce so now you have a chance." Sarah says.
Nora laughs. "You can't be serious!" She looks at her sister. "No. One he's my bestfriend and two he doesn't even like me like that. If anything I feel like he still loves Hailey. That is the mother of his child."
"Honey you never know until you try. And just because she's the mother of his child doesn't mean anything. They way Derek be explaining it he gives you love looks all day." Your mom tells you.
You roll your eyes of course you brother speaks about your love life. Before you can complain about that Desiree and Derek walks in.
"What are you three talking about?" Derek asks putting the groceries on the table.
"Nora and Aaron." Sarah says.
Nora slaps her arm. Derek laughs. "She still denying?" He says walking to the door.
"Yep." Both your mother and Sarah say.
You quickly get up and go out the door with Derek. You close it and push him. "Why? Why do you talk about that with them."
He pushes her back. "Because we all agree that you two should date." He open his door and gets in.
"Where are you going?" She asks.
"None of your business." He says closing the door.
"I want to come. If I stay here they're going to keep teasing me." She tells him.
He gestures to the passenger seat. She smiles and walks in front of the car to the passenger side. She goes to open the door when she suddenly hears a click. "Derek stop playing unlock the door."
She continues to pull on it as he laughs. "Negro stop fucking playing unlock the door."
He finally unlocks the door and you open it to get in. You punch his arm. "You play to fucking much."
