I watched as Mattia paced back and forth in the bedroom, "are you okay?"I questioned making him stop and look at me.
"Are you okay? You were just- nothing I'm trying not to yell cause I know it causes your ear to ring" he mumbled. I watched him go--up then down then up and down then up then he stood right there in front of me.
"What does he want with you kairi huh—tell me before I go bat shit crazy okay"he spoke grabbing my face.
He forcefully made me look up at me which caused my body to just melt. "Kairi!"he yelled startling me, I held my ear which made him lean forward and plead for forgiveness.
"It's not my place to tell you mattia, but all I can say is he doesn't want to harm me okay is that good enough for you?"I asked.
He nodded his head before kneeling down in front of me. "Why does it still feel like it's competition?" He asked.
"Because that's all you see any as...not everyone wants what you have or is trying to steal something or be better at something most people are just existing like you and me"I told him he laid his head on my lap and I moved his black hair out his face as I slowly stroked the stumbled that was lining his jaw.
