You live in a school due to it being the setup of a survival camp. Many people live here and military is set up in said spot, protecting the people. It was currently getting more attacks because of the humans that lived there, drawing in zombies that want in.
You were forced to relocate, military saying that they need to travel farther out to a city that is already cleared. There was no actual news on the city being safe except from the radio person that talked from time to time. They weren't so reliable but it was the best shot at survival, traveling all the way to Washington.
