Chapter 73:

'Terzo make up your mind, do you want Wendy's or Taco Bell?' Jasmine says into the phone.

'Alessandro wants a vanilla frosty and some spicy curly fries,' Mimi says from the back seat.

I turn round a corner and see Starbucks coming up.

'Where should we stop at first?' I ask.

'Let's get Xuan and Zoya's Big Mac first and then we'll go to Wendy's and the Taco Bell.' Jasmine replies.

'Ok cool,' I say. 'Let me just get an iced coffee first.'

I go through the Starbucks drive through and order an Iced Caramel coffee.

'Want anything?' I ask Jasmine and Mimi.

'A pink drink, please,' Jasmine replies.

'An iced Macha tea and a vanilla cake pop.' Mimi adds.

I drive to the next window and pay for our drinks and then collect them.

We drive past the police station and luckily I don't see Detective Stevens anywhere.

We drive to Mc Donalds and I get Xuan and Zoya their Big Mac meals and coke.

I also decide to get myself a crispy sweet chilli wrap. We drive to the next window and I pay and pick up our food.

I pass the bags to Jasmine and place the drinks in the cup holders.

We drive to Wendy's and get Alessandro's order, I get two of them incase Mimi wants some. I also get Terzo his double stack beef burger.

'Here you go,' I say passing the bags to Mimi.

'Thanks for getting us all food,' she says.

'No problem, I like driving around in the evenings anyways.' I reply.

Alora, Amira, Lorenzo and Matteo all want food from Taco Bell. Luckily it's not that far away from Wendy's.

Amira wants a sprite and a large portion of nachos. I get Lorenzo, Alora, and Matteo some chilli tacos.

'I need to make a stop and Walmart,' I tell them.

We arrive at Walmart and I quickly run into the store. I get two packs of strawberries because Alora has run out.

I also decide to pick up some raspberries for myself. I pay and leave the store.

I haven't really seen the black man, or should I say Christianto since he showed me his face.

But I'm not complaining, he freaked me out.

While I'm walking to my car I see someone staring at me out of the corner of my eye.

I turn to them and see Detectice Stevens glaring straight at me.

Shit.

He talks into his walkie-talkie and starts speed walking towards me.

'Shit!' I mutter and I start running.

'We have a runner,' Stevens speaks into his walkie-talkie.

I start running in between cars, and police officers try to block my way.

Why did I park so far away from the store?

I look behind me and three police officers including Detective Stevens are chasing after me.

'Dilara stop we have you surrounded!' He yells.

I look around, there's no way I can escape.

I turn around and slowly put my arms up. An officer comes and grabs my arm.
