ADRIANO'S POV:
Someone knocks on my door.

'Fuck off.' I snap, while letting out a puff of smoke.

Alessandro opens up the door and walks in.

'Get yourself together man,' he says. 'You look like a mess.'

'Why do you care?' I ask.

'Because you quit smoking a year ago and look at you now.' He sighs.

He grabs the cigarette and throws it out of the window.

'Get your ass up.' He snaps.

I sigh and sit up.

'I fucked up Alessandro.' I mutter. 'I really fucked up.'

'Yeah, I know,' he replies.

He sits down in front of me.

'Did you even love her?' He asks.

Of course I did.

I still do.

'Yeah,' I reply.

'You're not showing it.' He says. 'I don't think you ever did.'

I always showed Dilara that I loved her.

'Her favourite flowers are sunflowers, she loves blueberry pancakes and chocolate strawberries.' I say. 'She loves red skittles but hates all the other ones and she has a snake tattoo on her waist.'

And whenever she genuinely smiles or laughs, her eyes get smaller and two dimples appear on each of her cheeks. Her favourite Disney movie is Mulan.

'You need to get your ass up and win her back.' Alessandro says. 'And don't give me that Xuan bullshit, because him and Alora have something going on.'

'I can't.' I say.

'What do you mean you can't?' He asks. 'Why can't you.'

'Because they'll kill her, they'll kill all of you and then they'll kill me.' I say.

'Who will?' He asks.

'The Ravens.' I reply.

I start telling him everything that's happened, including my survival, talking to Vittoria, her taking me to The Ravens base, Fouzia and that hidden man.

'Shit,' he says.

'Alessandro I loved Dilara so much, and I still do love her.' I say. 'But I just can't.'

'So what does Fouzia have to do with this?' He asks.

'An alliance between the two mafias, just like a peace treaty.' I explain. 'Their strongest woman with our strongest man.'

'And what Vittoria doesn't have a problem with this?' He asks.

I shake my head.

'You have to know that I would never want to hurt Dilara.' I say. 'My heart ripped into a thousand pieces during that argument.'

'There has to be something,' Alessandro says. 'Something we can do.'

'There's nothing.' I reply. 'But I won't let this be the downfall of my mafia.'

'Shit.' He mutters, 'and what about last night? She was crying.'

'I've been trying to get her off my mind, and that meant giving other girls a chance.' I sigh. 'But no matter what we did, she just wasn't Dilara.'

'So you slept with Fouzia?' He asks.

God no.

'No,' I reply. 'It was just some random girl I met in a bar.'
