[9] Lunch

Finally after long dreadful periods. It was finally lunch time.

Funneh: Was it just me or was the first period class teacher weird?

Gold: For real.

Almost Immediately both Alec and Kyran responded.

Alec: Absolutely not.

Kyran: Nope.

Funneh: Wait- Have you two realized?

Alec: Almost instantly. The second we walked in, the tension went sideways. I hated the way he looked at you guys. What a creep.

Funneh: Ohhhh, he was looking at us. Makes sense why I had a gut feeling I was being looked at the whole goddamn time. I couldn't even focus because I felt so odd.

Gold looks away;

Gold: That's so gross. Makes me uncomfortable just thinking about it.

Funneh, Alec and Kyran both looked at Gold.

Funneh: She's right. Let's change the subject. Uh-...What do you guy's think is for lunch??

That sentence started making everyone think.

Kyran: Rabbit stew?? Oh! Maybe Corn dogs with fries????

Alec: I hope it's Pizza. Not gonna lie, I'm kinda craving that.

Funneh slightly opens her mouth;

Funneh: Yummyyy, now that you've said that. I'm kinda hungry for it.

Gold: Goodness Alec, that's Funneh's favorite food. You shouldn't have brought it up. Now that's all she's gonna talk about.

Alec: Oops-

Funneh: I wonder what type of pizza it could be. Cheese? Pepperoni???

Everyone sighs before laughing;

Alec: I promise, I didn't mean to cause this.

Gold: It's all you're fault, Alec.

Gold sarcastically rolls her eyes.

Alec: Hey- I didn't mean that.

Gold: Uh-huh, sureee.

Everyone laughs, finally they all made it to the cafeteria, heading into line.

Gold looks over at the food.

Gold: Oh- Looks like it is pizza. What are the odds.

Alec, Kyran and Funneh look up at the food, Funneh's jaw dropped.

Funneh: Oh my god!! Pizza!

Gold face palms, a few seconds later. There was yelling coming there way. Funneh looks over, snapping out of her daydream. It was Rainbow, Lunar and Draco.

Funneh: Oh, hey guys.

Funneh does a light wave;

Rainbow: Hey Funneh! Hey Gold, Kyran, Alec. How are you guys??

Gold: Periods could've gone better. Haha.

Lunar: I agree.

Draco: Well uh- What do you guy's normally do for lunch or after school??

Everyone started grabbing there food, walking over to a table.

Funneh: Uh- Before we even met Alec and Kyran. Me and Gold would go outside during lunch and take a little walk, talking about whatever we want to talk about. Then after school- We just walk around the town. Going to stores, getting ice cream. Just random things before we go home.

Draco: Oh! That sounds like a lot of fun.

Funneh: It's even better that I don't live with my parents now, so I don't have to be home for like- Hour's. But obviously, i care for my health. I normally come home before 6. I'm never out for that long, unless it's like- Some type of occasion.

Rainbow: Oh, you're a good kid. Have you ever thought or...done something you weren't suppose to do when you lived with you're parents?

Funneh: Uhm- Sometimes. I wasn't always that great of a kid. I would sneak out and hang with friends. Though, i was never a troublemaker. I was actually a really nice, kind person. I never fought with anyone, i never argued. I was a...Straight A student. I was someone you'd look at and be like "She's a great person, someone that'll never do something bad" Y'know? Obviously no one is perfect, not even me.

Gold: That's true. Funneh always been a straight A student. Even me. Haha.

Lunar: 4.0?? That's pretty cool. 

Rainbow: I'm hella jealous right now. Imagine being a top A student every year. You're parent's must be so proud.

Funneh looks away, scratching her head.

Funneh: I wish. 

Rainbow: Wait- You're parent's aren't proud?

Funneh looks back;

Funneh: They don't care about my schooling, what degree i get or were i even get myself in like- The next 5 years. But, i learned to accept it and move on. If they don't care, they don't care i guess.

Alec: What? Not even i knew. How is that fine? You're parents should be parents, help you grow. Get were you need to get...How the f*ck can they be lacking this?

Funneh looks over at Alec, along with everyone else.

Funneh: I don't know. It was just as confusing. If they don't wanna accept the fact they have a daughter that needs love and growth, then so be it. I don't need them. I'm doing just fine without them. 

Just then, the bell goes off.

Funneh: But for now, let me get through my schooling then i can deal with them.

Funneh get's up with her tray, walking off to the trash can. Everyone looks at eachother before doing the same. They all met by the Cafeteria exit.

Gold: Well, guess i'll see all you guys later. Besides Funneh.

Kyran: You guys got lucky with the same classes. I only get two with you guys.

Funneh: Uh- Maybe next Semester?

Kyran: Maybe.

Everyone laughs;

Draco: Okay, we'll be heading off. See you guys later?

Funneh: Yeah, hopefully. Bye!!

Everyone waves before they all head there different ways. Heading off to there next period. 5th.
