Chapter 2 Hard Choices

Lamoon's POV

Lamoon and her sister lucy were tasked to survey the usual route of the patrol from the royal army of Edolas "yeah this is their new home I told you some beginnings don't start happy but what universe are they in now that's the question"

Lucy if they come here what is the plan

Lamoon: the master said we are just scouting so the guild will be safe from the royal army

Lucy: but I'm bored

Lamoon: you're always bored

There's rustling in the leaves then they saw them the royal army 2-man patrol or in this case 2-woman patrol

Lamoon: there they are

Lucy: (grabs a big rock and sneaks behind them)

Lamoon; (whispers) what are you doing

Lucy:(whispers just follow my lead

Lamoon reluctantly grabbed a big rock and joined her sister

The two patrollers looked behind them but only to be knocked out

Lamoon; what now Lucy

Lucy; follow my lead

Lamoon: just tell me

Lucy: just trust me

An hour later at the guild

Mira: there you two are master wants to talk to you

Lamoon: what why

Lisanna: we don't know but you better go talk to the master before she gets mad

Lucy: when is she not angry

Elfman: you'd be surprised anyways go

So, they went to where hangout spot of the guild master

Lamoon: um master you wanted to talk to us

Edo Lucy: yeah, I did (she stands up) follow me "yes edo Lucy exists here as her own self"

The twins followed edo Lucy to the back of the guild building "or is it a tree"

Lamoon: um master what are we doing here

Edo lucy: well, this is confidential so no one is to know about this except for your team

Lucy; who is our team

Edo Lucy: that's for to figure out and for me to judge

Lamoon: wait your asking ask to make a team but what's the mission

Edo Lucy: well, your mission is to go infiltrate the royal army

Lamoon: what why us

Edo Lucy; I know it's a lot but you are the best members that are not there when the last attack on our guild happened

Lucy; we get it now master we'll get on working on the team

Edo Lucy: I'm sorry but we have no other choice we don't do this if they stage another attack on us our guild dies along with all of us

Lamoon: shouldn't we tell our family about this

Edo Lucy: you can't I know your siblings they would rather die protecting you two than do what is right "yes sometimes we do things for our family but is it right that's the question but if I ask you would you risk everyone's lives so you can save your family" "if you ask me, I'd pray to God to give the right answer because God gave us our lives it's up to him who dies or live I have no rights to take anyone's lives I don't even have the right to take my own because God owns it"

Lucy: how do you know they will choose to protect us over everyone else

Edo Lucy: because that's what our instinct to do for our family now do you get it now if you want to go and protect your family it's fine, I won't hold it against you but know this we are all family

The two siblings huddled and discussed what they should do

Lucy; Master we ---

Lamoon: accept the mission

Lucy: what are you doing

Lamoon: look sis if we do this, we don't have to live in fear that we could die the day

Lucy: I'm not happy

Lamoon: I know ok ma'am we'll ready our team and we'll go

Edo Lucy: ok talk to me when your team is ready

MEANWHILE

M: well while they deal with that, I guess I should fix it now but where to start I guess let's start at the core Pibby

Then the door to the room opened

J: hey M hows are the adopted characters

M: oh they are at war with the edolas king why

J; oh nothing but don't overdo it you'll go crazy over this thing

M: don't worry about me I can handle this

J: alright I'll see you in the real world

M: no you won't

J just laughed
